the notes are out of tune and for excellent style of baroque music, tune down a semitone. Also the speed is very slow, it must be faster and livelier. It sounds as though everyones asleep...

We are playing the International Music Co edition. They use the natural minor scale instead of the melodic minor so there is e-flat and f natural not e and f sharp in the 2nd measure.

Great job regardless of the age. The piece was near flawless. Perfect the theory first then add the passion. It is like trying to drive the fastest you can around a race course without first learning how to handle the car in the curves. Ignore the detractors, since they are most likely less skilled than you and are just simply envious.

I'm not "belittling" and yes I am a musician. I'm a 16 yr old specialist cellist at one of 4 government music schools in England. I'm playing this concerto in a festival in London in Autumn, i was simply giving my opinion to this performance, it wasn't down to the fact that he was a "child".

not only are the soloists completely lifeless, unmusical, heavy and dull, the orchestra is out of tune and sounds as if everyone would rather be somewhere else...

yah the orchestra is very bad but i happen to be the soloist for the cello 1 part + you dont need to be full of life and movement to sound good its just a waste of energy
