who gives a shit, as of now we all have same same but different great arts. us Thais were able to sustain and develop them distinctly, but y'all Cambos just had bad luck so we got credit, it's no one's fault. Thais should certainly be aware of how much influence Thai arts have taken from Cambodia, and so should Cambodians respect the direction we took with it.
yes its came from the Cambodian martial art ,if you read history where Cambodian warriors was there first ,but Thailand is taking all the credit .its like a japan say karate was the origin of pure martial art when its was china ,all the Thia did was people divide them self up with different politics
na Thai copied Cambodian ,just like Korean tried to copy karate from japan and came up with tkd .check your history you turkey Cambodia was a whole big region at first
@momocitoes i'm a fighter in real life i practice kyokushin which it mean the ultima truth booya also i do bujinkan aka ninjitsu brother..i'm all about truthful training i'm just being real. i'm just tired of arts claiming it's own..when it fact it from another origin . like in japan they say it derived from china they just being real..but Thailand and Korean it just commercial crap. plus tkd teacher lie to people in say tkd came first and blah blah .i do my research i'm a real MA nerd.
@momocitoes There no argument just matter of option and criticism, you just mad cuz what i"m saying its true ...also you mad because you can't back up anything.. if i'm stating something that's not true that a matter of option right, you might see a disrespect ..in fact i'm not the one cursing saying "FU camodia"
@hotpopcorncake then good one more thing u have to learn is to respect one another. A good martial artist ALWAYS respect other people , talk less and be the most peaceful he can be so anything saying that cause argument.
@hotpopcorncake blah blah about the past. Focus on the present bro ,go do something for ur nation. Don't just be just a great fighter on computer. Who cares about the fact in the past. Whatever it was, now people call this kind of martial arts "Muay Thai" for all over the world, and obviously people practice TKD because of the reason that they like it regardless of where they came from and who had copied from who.
alright...*thumbs up* it's nice seeing CAMBODIAN martial arts being resurrected again by our thai neighbors. why do thai try to commercialize so much? that's ok though, cambodia will show a little of our stuff too. the world will know that thai learned it all from ancient cambodians :)
i thought that most of the history of Siam was lost so there is no FULL evidence that Cambodia got it first....... it might have been destroyed by the Burmese invasion.....
Muay Boran more like it. Muay Boran has breaks, headbutts, takedowns and ground attacks as well as other unorthodox moves. It is a shame less and less of it is being taught in Thailand.
who cares where it's from. Nobody know, and you people werent there. Just train and have fun and shut up

Muay Chaiya is a style ,like Muay Korat or Muay Lopburi, not a technique.

muay chaiya is a technique of muay boran. like: ling lom or krabi-krabong or awut mid,... all belongs to muay boran
