How'd you record that? Because the sound coming out of the loop station is superb!!

    Nice work bro!!

(btw i don't think i've said the word superb for about 5 years!)

  • Thanks a lot. I was using the Line 6 Toneport for all my guitar tones, but was using RiffWorks Standard to loop and record everything. It was all done live. Although, I had made presets for my tones that I was switching between. I think I had the same lead tone for the first two parts and then a bass tone.

  • Ahh Line 6

    Can't go wrong :)

  • hahaha nice, great dancing, you made me smile

  • mustang?

  • That's a Fender Mustang guitar. And that's not a spasm, that's how I dance. The robot baby. Bringing it back.

  • nice song but what the hell was with the dancing you did, having a muscle spasm.

  • dude that sounds so good =] do u have a tab for this

  • No tab. Maybe I should make one.

  • Dig it! Dig the guitar tone, rhythm part, lead part, bass part. And the the fun expression and , eh , twitching! haha sweet! I loop too, check me out!

  • haha i was just listening to the video and reading something else and then i came back and you were freaking out and i got even more psyched. you should live in so cal so we can start a band and take over the world.

  • Sweet,

The single notes riff on the second loop almost sounds like it ends saying "touch down". Niice.

  • i concur

  • ya it does lol

  • thats the funniest thing ive seen all day. cool guitar also. 5 stars for making me laugh

  • What box do u use to get "bass" sound?

is it hooked before looping box?

  • Everything is being done inside the computer. I'm using Sonoma Wire Works' RiffWorks to loop the guitar. The guitar sounds are coming from the Line 6 Toneport audio interface that I have hooked into the computer.

  • why so stupid??

  • haha you look like you're having fun! :)

  • I very much like that riff- would go down very well here in england

  • Ha ha, he was absolutely lovin that!

  • Awesome, badass. You got yourself another subscriber, nice vids all around. Keep it up.

  • 1. do you need anything other than a guitar and a copy of the program to make it work? like.. does it come with a usb connector or something.

    2. can you use a mic?

  • You need a way to record your sounds. If you're on a PC, you need an ASIO device. If you're on a mac, you can use your built-in mic since everything runs on CoreAudio. I was using the Line 6 Toneport to record.

  • so if i have this program you're using, i need my instrument/amp/mic/whatever plugged into the interface pod thang.. and then run the interface to the computer with the usb thing?

  • Yes. There's two versions. The Line 6 version only lets you use the PODxt, or a Guitarport or Toneport. The Standard version from Sonoma Wire Works lets you use any of the Line 6 products as well as any ASIO or CoreAudio interface from the other audio interface manufacturers.

  • hmm. so which version is better? line 6 or the standard version?

im just recently trying to get into recording. still trying to grasp a lot of it.

  • i have the Line 6 Toneport what do you do after you have songs recorded how do you mix re-mix and then rip or burn

  • nice groove dude!

  • 6 bravo ma 6 anke un'idota :D

  • great job

  • How did get those loops???

  • I was able to loop using RiffWorks recording software by Sonoma Wire Works.

You can find it at their website - sonomawireworks-dot-com

  • how do u get the guitar sounding so clean man!!! cheers

  • check out loop man dan in cincinnati, he rocks it as well! I think he's on myspace.

  • please make more of these vids haha their funny

  • Ladies and gentlemen, there are few greats at it. Jon Brion is fantastic and he does it new everytime. But lately, I've been watching Andrew Bird do it with a violin, and good lord, is it good.

  • how do u get the guitar sounding so clean, i have the demo at mo, do i need the real deal for better guitar?

  • I was using Line 6 amp modeling. You could probably get a similar sound with the Amplitube Live VST that's included with the full version. I was using a Toneport KB37 with Gearbox 3.10. You can see the Toneport in the left side of the screen there.

  • have you ever heard of keller williams?

he does it 100x's better than anyone.

  • you guys ever heard of The Genie? I believe hes from the bay area, he calls it "scratch guitar", he basically does what this dude does but x10! its really good, look it up. good stuff though man.

  • sweet man, nice riff

  • lol you're having a good time :D

  • hahahahahah ur face says it all

  • Wow, like a one man band. Thanks for this.
