  • I'm Right Handed x.X But This Is A Great Tutorial For Lefties xD

  • omg why is it so drawn out?

  • @A2ZDemise lol! Mostly because it was completely impromptu. This was the first take and when I started, I had no idea what I'd be talking about by the time I got to the end of the video. And by the time I finished saying all of the points I wanted to hit, hey look! 10 minutes had gone by!

  • Thank you this realy is one of the best tutorials for Revolution Cut Bravo !!!

  • excellent tutorial have got it within about 15 mins or watching the tutorial will upload it soon!

  • i wanna learn it with right hand -_-" u sux

  • @robbyro6 lol well I know this is kind of weird to do, but if you don't need the sound, then grab a laptop and watch the video through a mirror :)

  • @xlbiofxe4 haha xD

  • i seriously have too long fingers for this cut o i'm just not good at learning -.-

  • this vid helped me a lot,by far the best video explaining this cut, thanks so much :)

  • I dont have a clip of me doing the cut but I've been trying to figure out how to do it for a while and before this vid I watched almost 10 others...this one is by far the best! Thank you so much! The time you spent going over every step and where all the fingers should be made all the difference...I was able to follow along the 1st time I watched and was able to do the cut within 15min. Much appreciation!!!

  • Nice tutorial :D

  • Excellent tutorial!!

  • im only 14 years old and i have a problem cause i have smaller hands and fingers have any tips? thanks...

  • thnx

  • hello .. Need HELP...

Im going to a party the next week with my friends. And I'm planning to do a trick for them, but what trick should i perform? I have been doing card magic for a year and I'm pretty good at it.

But what trick would you recommend?

  • Thanks, now my Left hand is all numb T^T.

  • this video is great, thanx

  • thanks man your video is the best tutorial out there. :)

  • His title is right :)

  • Very good tutorial, especially on where to place fingers - I used to think that my hand were too small. You are a good teacher

  • what is the mark of your deck?

  • Great Tutorial ! Thanks for uploading

  • could you please do a false revolution cut tutorial???

  • Thankyou! Great tutorial :D I managed to learn this cut in about 10 minutes! Good job :)

  • This is how a tutorial should be made. Clear video, with very specific instructions on how to position each finger and the correct times to do it. Steady hand, no weird camera angles, and a calm voice in very slow paces. Great!

  • So if u design a deck it didn't have the air cushion finish ??

  • @MysteryCloseUp That's right. They have some sort of finish on them, but it is not nearly as slick as an air cushion or a UV500 finish.

  • @xlbiofxe4

hmm thats Stupid, how well do they fan, are they like plastic cards?

  • what cards are those?

  • @test18258 Check out the verrrry first page of comments :)

  • sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow........

    man I was falling asleep!

  • Sorry if someone has already pointed this out, but this technique is actually not correct. Sure it works but its not the best way to do this great move.

Your ring finger needs to be moving underneath the top packet while pushing the bottom packet back. The thumb then pushes the top packet forward until the ring and pointer can stradle it.

This technique offers many advantages. Its smoother and makes advanced stuff easier.

I don't mean this in a bad or arrogant way, I just want you to know.

  • @DavidBlanch0 Thanks for the comments! I think it depends on your hand size. For me, the technique demonstrated in the video works perfectly in all situations in which I need a full or partial revolution cut to be executed. That in mind, I have also been told that I have very long fingers, and so for individuals with shorter fingers, they will probably benefit greatly from the tactic you've described.

Please make a video response demonstrating your thoughts!!

  • painful

  • good tutorial, but kind of long...

  • how is name of this car manipulation

    revolutio, werm...etc

  • @Hobo119119 Thanks, dude!

  • Very good details on finger placement and how to do the cut, it helped me figure out the cut instantly, not just to work on smoothness. thanks

  • dame u need big hands for this lol

  • @SuperMastermind3000 its fine if you dont have, i had watch other tutorials last time and thought i need big hands for this too, but after i watch this tut, i can do it slowly already. Try it with half a deck 1st :)

  • Great Revolution One Handed Cut Tutorial!!!...Much appreciated I got it down in under 30 min...Great explanation!!!...The explanation was a HUGE help man... • i like your cards

  • Great video I learned it first time through. thanks alot.

I would put up some video but I don't have a camera yet.

  • Thank you, I have been working on this for a week. I learned it from a DVD but had no idea what to do with my pointer finger. That curling part helped. Thank a lost man! Subscribed!!!

  • title says it all

kinda hard to hold the deck for so long in odd positions while you explain it but like you say in the beginning

    you do learn it

    nice job

  • Okay!!! =)

  • You didn't give Brian Tudor credit? He created this

  • @Rocker4092 Thanks for pointing that out!! I had written the description in notepad and I guess I never bothered to check it once I copied and pasted it to the site! Should be there at the bottom of the description now.

  • ough that is HARD but so cool and i think i can kinda do it with a little more practice it'd be easy then :D

  • OMG! You're the BEST! Thank youuuu! :D

  • The deck is very awesome. It will be very cool while you play some card flourish.

  • Thank you so much, I got it down after 15 mins!

  • @adeanyin You are 100% welcome!!

  • amazing , thank you, the tutorial is awesome !!!!! great !!!!

  • thanks dude ur the best

  • dude this is like the first time i succeed at a card cut tutorial the first time. THANKS!

  • AMAZING!! SIMPLY FCKING BEAUTIFUL :) This cut has been the most frustrating thus far out of all the ones i've tried yet (i started last week) but still, this tut really saved me tons of time wasting my life watching the other tuts over and over again bro, thanks

  • sadly, my hand's too small. I cant do thumb cut, revolution cut...

  • wow! nice tutorial!

I'm trully amazed by your spirit of teaching and ..your neat cards...

    What's that deck?

  • @helenzlazzli Thanks! They are a custom backing that I designed and that Bicycle printed.

  • @xlbiofxe4 HOw did you created it ? I mean the design - ok , but how did you printed it and make them in a deck ?

  • @bobi999333222 check out the very first few comments on this video ;)

  • that is one awesome tutorial! I'd post a video response but loads of people would slag me off...

  • @SimLees Go for it! You could always disable comments on it. Nobody should expect perfection. I think its a big accomplishment to be able to do this cut, no matter how slow.

  • damn, my palm is too small so much for being a small kid.

  • Thanks heaps, great help.

  • WOW , that is the most beautiful card i 've ever seen

  • There is an excellent book by a guy named Gary klein. he is some sort of cognitive psychologist type guy. He teaches how to "copy cat" masters of different tasks. An expert nurse, pool player, surgeon. whatever field whatever task.

i think this book is likely to resonate with you. Sources of power.

Also i think you seem to be very kind.

  • You have the spirit of teaching!

Patience, respect for people, attention to detail. I bet you you can teaching anything you know. I also bet you have very nice and caring relationships with more than a few people. Your parents must be proud of you as a person. Thank you, that was a very refreshing lesson.

  • nice cards, what are they?

  • Thanks! I actually designed the backs and bicycle printed the cards. There's a site that you can go to if you've got a design and bicycle will print it for you bicuclecustomcards or something.

  • Wow thats sick! I see it's $20... for how many decks?

  • First i gotta say: find the post earlier on where I talked a little about how the cards are; it might change your mind. Second: It's $20 for 1 deck, but if you buy 2 (I think) theres a coupon to get a third free.

  • lol this way better than most tutorials -.-

  • one of the few videos worth calling tutorial

    nice job

  • for fucks sake finally! other tutorial videos on here have music on the video or its filmed on a retarded angle, or all they say is "like that" and dont know what they're talking about.

thanks man, you taught that well.

  • i sugest you find a way to do it without the thumb at 4:40 cuz u need ur thumb free in cuts such as madonna

  • Thanks for the comment! Very true, in the madonna you want to be using the index finger to push that packet into the base of your thumb. This way you don't have to rely on the top of the thumb to hold the packet in place and thus, it can be used for other things. However, since the spinning packet in the madonna is not coming from your left hand, I believe that the setup of the revolution cut warrants using the thumb a bit more because of the way the "thumb-grabbed" packet sits in the left hand.

  • u speak a bit too technical 4 me 2 understand lol. u shud do a madona tut kuz i cant seem to get the revolution down

  • hmm... I might try to do that haha If I do, I'll make it a video response to this video.

  • thnx dude. that wud b awsum

  • Hmm... I guess I didn't realize that the Madonna was a Dan and Dave cut from The System. I'd rather not make a tutorial of it for that reason; it's theirs to teach. I'm not sure who the revolution belongs to lol. Sorry man.

As a tip, try straightening up your pointer after you start the spinning. For me it makes that packet swing around faster into place.

Maybe I'll make a vid just providing a couple of tips for that part of the cut. I haven't seen the D and D tutorial for the cut though.

  • Well i'll see what i can do. Thanx 4 the pointers

  • thanks very much!

  • def. the best tutorial ive seen... and if i can understand it it has to be good... lol

  • this tutorial is completly awesome:) I don't see why some people don't like watching it because its is long, for myself I love tutorials that are long and detailed. In fact, that is why I clicked on this video, because I saw it was 9 minutes long lol. Thanks for your help:) - Benjamin T-P

  • exellent tutorial!!! now i can do it!

  • very very detail. thanks so much

I can do it now, but I can only do it really slowly

  • this video takes a lot of patience to watch man. we ain't babies. but your video is good

  • it is reallyy the best tutorial BRAVO!!=]

  • Will you please tell me what kind of cards those are?

  • Sure. They are custom :) I designed the backs to them and Bicycle printed them. You can make your own on bicyclepersonalizedcards . com. I recommend them for sybil-type routines or aerial moves, but they do NOT fan well even out of the box. They just aren't meant for it. I have a few other designs too. Let me know if you're interested in seeing them.

  • Sorry for the delayed response... I couldn't figure out why my comment wouldn't post. turns out having "something . com" (without the spaces) will not post! I tried a few times over the past couple weeks, but only now looked up the youtube help to see what was up.

  • It's okay. But yeah I would love to see any designs you have.

  • hey can i see your designs too? by the looks of those cards u seem pretty talented

  • even tho it is good.. you need a damn load of dead patience to watch this video.

  • Great tutorial! Thanks for posting it! I have BT's Showoff #1 and your tutorial goes into much better detail IMHO. Thanks!
