I was at this debate. And I liked the fact that I got to see it. But the audience was hard to deal with. My cousin and I were two of about 15 conservatives in the building. The debate was more like a friendly discussion. They laughed and had too much fun with each other. You could tell they were friends... I'm a huge Ann Coulter fan.
I'm not a fan of Ann Coulter, but I love Maher. I'm very liberal. You're right, there wasn't a lot of conservatives there, which wasn't very fair but what would you expect? It was in liberal New York City.
I enjoyed myself a lot! It even made me like Ann a little more. She was funny.

With body language you should also look for clusters (in other words, a series of actions that lead to a conclusion).
Bill Maher has a habit of touching all his guests, it's just natural for him, so it didn't really mean anything in this case...
