"Spygate" centered around a single rule violation. Specifically, no team can record video during the game from on the field. To put it more simply, the infraction was for the location of the taping, not the taping itself. Had he been recording from the coaches booth or the stands, it would not have been a rule violation.

Since Belichick has been a head coach, he's pushed to have the competition committee to allow defensive players to have mic-ed helmets, like the QBs. Over 10 years, they never budged. Wouldn't you know it, the year after Spygate, the rule was finally changed and the defensive now has a mic on the field! Belichick has a plan for everything!

Who played back up for a year and then went on to become the most talked about NFL player in history along with Montana and those type of guys. Who went on to win 3 SB championships (possibly 4 after this season, and maybe even a 5th).Who even though he went 18-1 still threw 50 fucking TD passes that season and won the most games in regular season history.
