I worked for USANA for a while. You have to buy like $100 worth of product a month to keep your points rolling over. I couldn't afford to keep paying it and had to quit. Some people don't even take the pills, they just stockpile like 8 boxes and pay the money to get the business benefits. But the remaining of the 499 and plus more that didn't make it into the book is going to hate this book, it's ONE against the world, thus I am yet again not surprised to see misleading information consistently spread on the internet of how inaccurate the research is.

@keenanmartens The research is funded by Canadian government, if the book is proven to be inaccurate the book will be taken off shelves, but so many have tried to prove it wrong, regardless of how many negativity it has on the internet, it was never taken off shelves thus meaning it was never proven wrong. I am sure many hates it, so why not sue it? Surely someone would win if it was wrong, but I don't heard anyone has been successful bringing down the publication yet. =)

Great products but the problem is with the compensation plan. In order to balance out the cost of your autoship you have to have at least $1000 in sales through your PCs (balanced on left and right leg). The only way to make a significant income is through recruiting. If you're not recruiting then the only other option is to buy a lot at wholesale and sell at retail. Great products, garbage plan.

Regarding the compensation system, I do not see how it is fair that someone has to balance legs of income. It appears designed to enable the company to take as much as they can and give as little as they can in return. On commission I get a percentage of what I sell, but with USANA if sales are $80,000 in one leg, but $4,000 in the other leg, you only get commission on the combined amount of $8,000. They still get $84,000. It's hard work and a gamble for the distributor. Appears immoral to me.

Its very possible to have an emerald director beneath you when you understand that when an associate receives another Business Centre, the associate must place it somewhere in their downline. I have the rank of Builder and have a Silver Director beneath me. She placed one of her new Business Centres there. This is just one of the many fantastic possibilities with USANA.
