The downside is that you're constantly pressing the home button. Circuitous just uses a simple swipe of the screen. It looks great, but over time, the wear and tear could mess up your phone.

Is there any way to effectively CLOSE the app quickly? In other words, is there any way to close the apps without it being holding the icon on the dock and pressing the X button? I'd hate to have to do that all the time when I don't want too many apps cluttering in the dock.

@iphonepunk in your vid you signed into skype, switched to notes, and when u switched back to skype it had to sign you in again...which means that when you switched over to notes you were automatically signed out. on a jailbroken iphone with multitasking this doesnt happen. os 4.0 multitasking needs the developers to code backgrounding into their apps. its pretty apparent that skype devs havent done this yet. same thing for pandora. open it and try switching over to another app...music will stop

you will be able to choose to have double tap or even triple tap. maybe now there will be a 4 tap to get the accessability options up, ie contrast mode etc

Just my luck to have the 1G :S...but...double-tapping the home button lets you multitask? I always liked the double-tap to access your music feature...hopefully that still works

@chadt4 Probably won't, as the need to manage your audio mid-app will be useless if you can simply run both apps and switch back and fourth quickly.

@danazmi No not for the 3G version (unless you rewrite a certain file which is easy) but originally nop :P Appearently Apple though that the 3G's version has too bad performance for it. But we'll see what happens.
