One way to beat Seymour Flux is to get everyone's overdrive gauges to max (including your aeons) and just hammer away at him. Yunalesca is all about getting your attacks first and having a bit of luck. Hastega go go! One of the best battle themes...period

Seymour Flux: Bio + Haste on Flux, Hastega on Yuna, Tidus, Rikku. Alchemist Weapon as well as Mega-Phoenix and Al Bhed Potion on Rikku for double full-lifes. Mighty Guard with Auron, Wakka and Kimahri for Total Annihilation, then switch Rikku in for survivor and use Mega-Phoenix. At 20K go for the overkill with Mega Flare. Most manageable way to beat him without spamming Aeon overdrives.

First form, having a hard time so I tried to fill up everyone's overdrive before the battle, then used them all. I was happy she went down then a second form appears. I was like WTF. Then I remembered I didn't use my aeons with full overdrives so I unleashed them all but all of them died in the process, but I thought, it was worth it.

First time I fought this character I was really into Yojimbo, summoned him and he did a Zanmato in his first turn... Wasn't really expecting him to do Zanmato though, was the first time I actually saw that move I think. Next day I tried to show my friend, loaded up the save file, but he didn't do it again...

The best strategy I've read is to fully charge everyones overdrives, including Aeon overdrives, and then fight him. During the battle, have Yuna cast shell on Lulu, Auron and herself, then have Lulu use focus as much as you can. Then hit Seymour with all of the Aeon overdrives. Once he uses Total Annihilation, it should be weak due to shell and focus :) then finish him off with whoever. Just make sure everyone in the party gets a hit on him :) worked for me. Remember to cure zombie too.

seymour flux if you ask me is much harder than omnis. But here is a tip for beating him - use the ability called bio to pull down is health 1K each turn!

ya, the fights easy if you bide your time. keep everyone alive, cure zombie everytime, and throw in a few hits, have shell on everyone (especially auron and wakka) when he uses total ahnialation, then revive and heal before throwing in more hits, dont take risks and you'll be fine.

I defeated Seymour Natus last night with the Bio strategy. It's ingenious.

Eventually reached the Seymour Flux fight and tried that strategy again, it's effective. But the main I'm stuck with atm is staying alive while Bio drains his HP. He pwned me quickly.

@Darkstar263 the key is to inflict him with poison, and have a party that is strong enough to survive total anihalation. it would also help if you have your aeons overdrive. He will banish them, but they are allowed one move before he does so, so you can cast their overdrive. if your aeons hit 9999 you will inflict quite alot of damage. Also stack holy water because he loves to inflict zombie and cast full-life. Happy fighting :)

Oh, how many DAYS it would've taken to level up enough to kill Seymour Flux without out the "aeon overdrive" spams. I usually did pretty well without them, up until I saw, "Annihilation" and then a crap-ton of missiles killed my entire party!
