Appalachian State vs Michigan is the bigger upset than this x infinity. Tons of people picked the Giants to win. In the NFL, any team truly can win on any given Sunday(unless they're the 2008 Lions). Appalachian State was being paid to be manhandled. The game was expected to be such a mismatch it didn't even have a betting line. I honestly laugh at anyone who thinks this is a bigger upset.
Even as a Giants fan, the greatest upset of all time (in football) is superbowl III. Superbowl XLII is a close second but the greatest upset in sports history is definitely the miracle on ice.

The Giants were the underdogs in every game of the playoffs and they beat "the perfect team." I wasn't born yet to see the 1980 miracle on ice but even so, this has got to be top 3. I don't see how you could compare college games to these though.
i think the biggest upset is the miracle on ice, and i think another one just happened that america beat spain in soccer. although america didn't beat brazil we're still qualified for the world cup next year, which is big considering spain has practically made soccer a religion. literally, they don't disrespect soccer and if they do they can get in trouble

I want a superbowl where 2 teams are equal so they both think the game is gunna be hard! And the REAL better team holds the trophy

Dont get me wrong i totally respect the giants because they wanted it more! I mean they are the comebackers...
