I’m not failure with bungees utilized for jumping but I can clearly see its sheathing is significantly frayed. I am particularly perturbed in that Erin appears to be relatively light (guessing 53 – 63kg). I imagine we could be somewhat more forgiving of the bungee companies follies had this occurred with a 220kg behemoth. Given that that bungee broke with Erin on it seems clear it would have broke with anyone.

Approx 3.2 seconds from bungee failure till jumper/swimmer impact with water - yea that is a big drop. This girl has skills – “swimming down” to free her bungee of an entanglement in high volume fast current moments after taking an unexpected high velocity impact with the rivers surface. I think greatest probability most others would have perished in this situation.

On voit des rapides ; et qui dit rapides, dit impossible d'avoir des crocodiles à ce niveau, peut-être en amont ou en aval, mais dans ce cas, c'est plus loin que les rapides.
