The real reason on how this happend is simple.

He used a caterpie.

heres how it happened

your only supposed to be able to talk to her from teh front, and it creates the pokeballs a certain amount of pixels from the character

when you talked to her form behind, it created the pokeballs, and the game is coded to sop creating pokeballs when it places a pokeball in a particular spot

but it created 6 and never reached that spot, so it started randomly placing them, therefore sendthing the game on an endless loop

It's the fact that he didn't have any pokemon in the party. the shiny bulbasaur was really the same glitch Pokemon that you throw out when you battle with no pokemon, Blank. he's there because the PC is trying to read the data for what Pokemon are in your party,but that data is, er, "blank". so the PC- and the battle system when you battle with no pokemon- send out a pokemon who's data is blank- Blank itself.

it "counts" the pieces of party pokemon

data that I mentioned before.

but unlike the PC and battle system,

it won't accept the blank pieces of data that the PC and battle system turn into Blank. When it, for some reason, it finds

no data there, it goes haywire and throws
