oh man, you guys removed my comment on this board! Or didn't approve it... dicks. Just kidding it was a retarded comment anyway, glad it isn't on here anymore. Sorry for being so off topic btw. Guess I'm the dick. :(
No probra, we're not removing comments. Something strange has been goin on with YouTube lately where it's dropping comments from the boards. If I go into our account, I can find them, but for some reason they don't show up on the public board. I have no idea why this is happening, but we're not censoring you guys. Sorry for the confusion.
Boyd should get more airtime he is awesome!!!!!!! But I do love the actors from past Joss Whedon shows continuing to appear.
I love the first season but am on the fence about this season. Ballard wailing on echo was a little much. And season 2 episode 2 was like wow didn't see that coming at all.
Buffy, a little fem? A show fill with vampires, demons, werewolves, serial killers..ect. Hand to hand combat and death in almost every episode. I don't know Mason, I am honestly curious why you think Buffy is a fem show.
On an unrelated topic, did you guys check out the new Image comic "The Haunt"? Its written by Robert Kirkman and drawn by Greg Capullo. Its another 'dark and brooding' crappy McFarlane creation. I didn't pick it up and was just curious what you guys think of it. Can a good writter work with McFarlane's garbage stories?
It wasn't terrible. It was a bit too dark, brooding and bloody for me but since Kirkman is writing it I'll give it a couple more issues to see what he can do with it. Ryan Ottley doing the pencils was nice too. It definitely could have been worse since McFarlane had something to do with it.
joss whedon seems to use all the same people for his shows, every one from firefly ended up in angel and buffy, now there all heading to dollhouse, i still love his shows though
I have to laugh a little that you guys go from "we're feminist defenders of comics" to "watch dollhouse for the hot sexy chick" That actually worked well for me to see the balance there. :) Keep on keepin' on.
is fringe geting good cus i stop watching it was geting broing. ill check out dollhouse shuld i watch the first season to catch up on it or can i jump in it ?
I'm the only geeky gay guy I know who hates this show. Kinda cooled off Joss Whedon and and all. Watched 15 minutes of Firefly and couldn't get into it. However I'm hoping it stays on because I know a lot of friends of mine will give me less grief if it stays on and gives them something to do, instead of trying to get me addicted to True Blood...
Altho, TV Crossover idea: Dollhouse vs. It's Always Sunny. "WILDCARD B**CHES!"
I haven't watched Dollhouse or Fringe. I am sure they are good shows, but I am gun shy when it comes to Sci-fi shows on Fox.. after what they did to Firefly I don't want to get burned again investing time in a show that could be canceled at any moment.
2 quote GeorgeMichael: " l gotta have Faith" That's what l've been waiting 4 from Joss. With Dollhouse, there's 2 much of Eliza going from femme fatale 2 damsel in distress and back again.
The interaction between Amy Acker and Fran Kranz blew me away, Topher is a character I took some time warming up to, his humour was this alien entity on the show, but I'm quite fond of him now. That first episode was great, the second episode a little less so, but I'm really optimistic for the rest of the season. I just don't see it lasting much longer, which bums me out. Joss Whedon and Fox don't mix well, I'd like to see him collaborate with HBO or SyFy or some other cable channel.
Heh, you just reminded me of that one Flight of the Conchords episode where they become a Simon and Garfunkle cover band. What would be fucking hilarious is if we tuned in to watch the next CCW segment and you two were dressed as Simon and Garfunkle.... somehow I don't think Jose would be up to it. Hey, if at all possible do you think you could talk about Daredevil #501 in a future segment?
Dollhouse has a moral gray that is different from Whedon's other shows. I'm still having trouble getting used to it. And I know it's mostly everyone's cup of tea, but all the sexual stuff is driving me away from the show. Especially when Ballard had to sit there and listen to Echo have sex.
I just found out a few seconds ago that Fox has just cancelled Dollhouse!

I dunno boys. I cant imagine any guy really caring about this show other than to see how hot the chicks are.
That might sound lame but its always felt a little fem to follow even buffy if your a guy.

A little fem? You really aren't hiding the fact that you are a quite the asshole, huh? Kudos.

Fringe is easily one of the best shows on tv. You should finish watching the first season before watching the new one. It will help.
