  • @freakyshane13 what you need to do is follow through with the initial kick more, and raise the other leg (the one not doing much). if you do it right, youll end up on your shoulders, and youll have to keep your legs raised because it will give your hips more height. hooe this helped.

  • @momoxtz youre thinking of it as steps, you shouldnt do that. subconsciously, youll be putting effort into the individual steps, not the move itself. think of it as one fluid motion, and dont break it down, itll just make it harder to learn.

  • ehh, whenever i collapse + swing, i hit the ground with my ass/hips, and not on my upper back, and it totally kills my momentum.

  • when i try to do the restab like you sed to do at 2:58 i 4 sum reason use my leg instead of my arm i find it diffcult to use my arm and 4 that reason my momentum gets scwered up and my windmills look sloppy what do i do 2 stop this???

  • @savagechocolate i feel your pain but based on when your comment is posted it its too early to get them. i asked bboy Ronnie how long would it would take to get windmills and he said months but some people get it faster than other so he said keep trying and with time you'll get it

  • everytime i attempt windmills from the stab position, i always connect with the ground with my left shoulder a bit too hard. It drops and i have excutiating pain. Is that normal? How do i get it to drop more smoothly ??

  • Great vid man! One question, I can get the initial drive and collapse, but once I reach the end, my mill starts getting out of control and slows down too much. I think I'm not turning my hips enough. Any tips on getting more power into my hips?

  • i keep on hitting my hips on the ground maybe because i can't spread my legs that far at all. my legs are always bending at the kick off, and i keep on closing them right when i finish one rotation. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @thedjspooki depends how much you work on it. i worked on it little by little and after a year i got em. but if you try everyday i'm sure you'll get it in like a month or less.

  • you forgot to mention that after you kick with your kicking leg, you have to straighten it....or straighten both legs in general after kicking.

  • @tennieltuason the time it takes to learn it varies between each other, so there is no certain time

  • @tennieltuason yes i could do windmills at 14 and it took me like six months to perfect them and thats with practicing 15 mins each day

  • Believe it or not, the Jason Wagner tutorial didn't help me much but your tutorial got me doing windmills. I guess it's because you went slower and was in more detail. Thanks dude!

  • @kibaboy99 keep your head down.. and the sense of restabbing it is to make your hips higher and keep your head down.

    I'm so close... It's been a year and I get like 1.5 windmills and my 2nd mill to 3rd mill messes me up. I can't do clean ones after the first one.

    So I'm guessing it's just practice. I'm so glad it took you a year, cause I felt like I was the only one who took this long, lol.

  • @yoshiknight01 well to get more windmills you need to go one by one and when you get that motion you can put it together, which allows you to do more windmills

  • @yoshiknight01 the reason why is because your not collapsing fast enough, when you drop your arm like in the video it has to drop the same time you kick. so your kicking and then dropping which makes you roll over your arm.

  • @SamuelKidoKim You are the BEST man! I have been pracising mills for a total of six months now, and then i saw your tutorial a few weeks back, so i did it your way and i can sometimes get one clean windmill. my only advice for other people out there is to PRACTICE A LOT! Because if you dont practice like 20 minutes a day on just your windmill then, it will take AGES!

    BTW Sam is there a way for me to clean up my transaction so i can get more than just one? :)

  • I think your tutorial is probably the best i've seen because it focuses more on what your legs are supposed to be doing, and it helped me a lot, my only problem is when i collapse my arm goes behind me so i end up rolling over it :/... Any suggestions?
