  • It's cool but cut n scratch a little....

  • what's the ike & tina song sampled

  • nice do man. You'd be a popular guy to post the audio file for dl somewhere cuz all the versions floating in the cloud are kinda low - multigenerational degradation is my guess -- bootleg of a bootleg action.

    yours is def clean.

  • "Daaa-da-da" love it....This is a classic old school 'feelgood' type beat...Thanks for sharing!

  • hmm? ain't this the same song? I ain't hearing a difference, bros.

  • @AbdullahShabazz That is the whole point. I made the same beat (Bozo Meko) from scratch. (I sampled the Ike & Tina drum, and Take 6 vocal) I did NOT sample from the Bozo Meko record.

  • @jvcforce

    GOOD SHIT!I MISSED THIS JOINT!

  • @FACEMAN07303 Are you Andrew Breitbart? Please read the description. Both Mr.45 King and the Bozo Meko 12" are credited/explained. I even got message from Mr. James! He saw this video, and confirmed me that the beat was indeed his, and someone bootlegged it. I even own the Bozo Meko 12", two copies! I used the word "Remix", because it is labeled "Spread Love (Remix)" on Bozo Meko label. NONE of samples were taken from Bozo Meko 12" for this project.

  • this is ultra crack. love this

  • I LOVE WATCHA DOING HERE PLAYER

  • Im proud of you kid. I aint heard this joint done like this since Dj Red Alert was on Kiss FM (thats NY for those who don't know)

  • 10 STARS!!

  • Hottest track ever! Been looking for it since the mid-90's! Thx....

Brings me right back to those smokey hip-hop clubs on the Lower East Side circa 1991.

  • Ahh, 1991! Palladium (NYU dome now) was still popular, house music was huge back then. Gypsy Woman was huge, huge jam in Manhattan. Hip hop clubs were considered "too dangerous" to attend these days.

  • Dude! I was sneaking into Limelight, the Tunnel,THE PALLADIUM...all that! You must be from the city! Never heard of Gypsy...just a dumb kid trying to be cool! And always getting caught.

I love all your tracks! It's like traveling back in time. How can I cop that Take 6 joint? This is a must for my playlist!

  • "Gypsy Woman" by Crystal Waters, it was huge radio hit! Literally it was played everywhere in Manhattan. Remember, this is before Rudy, everybody was playing radio loud and iPod did not exist. There was no hip hop staions; Kiss FM was playing both hip hop and club hits back then.

  • LOL! Of course...Crystal Waters! La-da-dee, La-a-daa! When you said "Jam", I thought you meant party. Lolz!

  • yeah, i remember when they closed the palladium... it was so long ago... and the beatnuts used to perform at the limelight, what seemed like every week... the tunnel- yeah... but kiss and BLS used to play hip hop after 10, but they had mr. magic and red alert and all the mastermixes of gwen guthrie, loose ends and everybody.

the 45 king remix of spread love was pretty popular too. i grew up in the NYC (and haven't lived there for 10 years) but it's nice to connect.

  • I LOVE THIS TUNE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sick
