I can't get over how precise the prediction was of what the inside of airplanes would look like in 2001+. Kubrick was dead on. However they did miss the concept of cell/mobile phones. I'm sure if we had space stations like that today that my mobile would still work there.

Brilliance, no matter how good special effects get nothing can compare to a brilliantly shot, scored and directed movie. Suck it starwars prequels!
