  • best record on this lable both side wicked, i got mine stored safly :)

  • wonderful, clickty break intro that rolls into one of the best breakbeat produced darkside efforts of its day! Love the "..and everyday" section with THOSE breakbeats backing it up and the slightly sleezy, sassy sounding trumpet that has hints of subliminal Reggae/Ska perhaps?A fantastic, rollicking hybrid with just about a pinch of everything giving it full flavour. Awesome '93 slammer..

  • can pepole stop giveing oldskooltube negative comettns so i can laff at them

  • @hessy11 He got banned from YouTube. That guy was seriously fucked in the head. I bet he had a burberry car...

  • makes me wanna learn the sax lol

  • Big big tune, nice one ;)

  • This tune was so massive, it was hard to get even then, because it sold out immediately.

One of the blueprint tracks for jungle/drum and bass. 93/94 has to be my favourite years, very underground, atmoshperic and legendary.

I Dj'd from '92 to '97, and this is the only section of my collection that is worth anything. The older hardcore records from '92 backwards, are quite easy to find.

95/96 grew commercial aspects to the scene and quite a common sound to your average joe, but 93/94=real deal

  • I think we must have lived parallel lives mate! I couldn't agree more. It all changed as it became more and more segregated rather than just being hardcore to me. I quit about Djing in about 96 when I could no longer spend my money in the record shop as I didn't actually want anything on offer. Pirates in 92 and 93 were awesome!

  • "I think we must have lived parallel lives mate!"

Yea :) We are the genuine article. I can only speak from a London perspective, but there was certainly a general direction most of us we're following as this music was at the forefront of UK underground music.

I remember the years and records that influenced the evolution of the music and the scene.

"Pirates in 92 and 93 were awesome!"

We'll never forget !! There can never be another time like it again. Innocence has truly been capitalised.

  • Yep when Garage blew up that was the final straw for me, sold my decks and my vinyl, was disgusted with the way the scene went TBH and look at the bastard child it spawned the bling era even worse

  • junglist for life !

  • Reminds me of a kool fm tape i have by easy d cracking tune.

  • Tune!...5 stars

  • THE BEST TUNE OF 93 STILL LISTEN REG

  • checking this again, i forgot to say that the trumpet sample at about 2.45 is from a dairy milk advert in about 1991/2, the one where the dark-clad special forces guy bursts through a window and leaves the woman a box of milk tray on her dresser.

  • it from the song joker smoker by tristan palma

  • Out to Mr Solo, tune was way ahead of its time

  • love mixing this in with d-force - original bad boy!
