I have an idea and that idea is when anakin's hilt gets cut in half at the top of it a sith or someone picked it up and upgraded it to a red and that's how it looks like darth vaders hilt
@mrzamarron23 Episode 1,3 Are my favourites, I actualy prefer the prequels, which is rare it seems. I got myself a vader fx Master replica, box, stand ect off ebay, new condition for £55 off ebay! good times

@arkergib02 an ultra saber is because they are made with a very durable form of polycarbanite and they are durable enough that u can run it over with a car and it will still work and be in good condition and u can also order a more durable blade at the website either with or without the hilt

@Rampagedd this particular lightsaber dates back to 2002, and it was not made using LEDs. It uses an EL blade, where instead of powering up and powering down, EL blades just turn on and off like a light switch. rarely will you find one brand new in its original sealed box. the one that i bought was used but arrived in great shape!

ever notice that the black grip striping of the hilt is not only vaders, but also skywalker, ep. 2,, ep. 3 - also lukes in ROTJ. Very interesting they got this father/ son stripe fetish going on! lol.
there are five rare lightsabers, windu's happens to be one of them. but anakin's aotc is rarer cause it came out first. u can find a lot of windu lightsabers on ebay, anakin aotc u can't.

There are 'limited edition (LE)' sabers which are also collectibles, but they do not light up or make sounds. If you get an 'ultra saber fx' you can remove the blade!

its just to add realism. the real props had the same belt clip so its part of the design. plus, if you do get an ultrasaber conversion you can use it to put on yer belt!
Forgot to mention this is also my favorite hilt! One funny thing about this fx saber version is that it's the biggest one of them all, but the real deal is one of the smallest ones after Yoda & Sidious hilts. Keep up the collecting, your videos rock.
