This song plays in my head when I look back at my time at St. Virgil's College, especially when I was in Grade 8. I'm in Grade 9 now and will graduate from the College on it's 100th Centenary next year on the 27th November. St. Virgil's College is (what Madonna says in the song) my pride and joy. It was a wonderful movie, and I used to play this song on the juke box at the pizza parlor especially when there was a junior baseball team there celebrating. The place would always grow quiet during this song. These moments are not meant to last. Cherish the moments!

This ballad by Madonna is probably her most poignant, most beautiful. She's often noted for not being a brilliant singer, but you would never think it after hearing this. She's so heartfelt and so achingly full of despair. I cry everytime I REALLY listen to it. It's impossible not to be moved by the lyrics and music, and what a beautifully shot video! @kalamaty As much as I love Madonna's fast songs, it's the ballads that move me the most. This, Crazy for You, and You Must Love Me, are probably her best songs and most touching. It's almost as if you can feel the pain that she is singing about yourself when you listen to them.

This song plays in my head when I look back at my time at St. Virgil's College, especially when I was in Grade 8. I'm in Grade 9 now and will graduate from the College on it's 100th Centenary next year on the 27th November. St. Virgil's College is (what Madonna says in the song) my pride and joy. And when I graduate, I will graduate being a proud Virgilian and I will look back to the good times me, my teachers and my mates have had, for those memories I will treasure for the whole of my life.

This song makes me think of the boy I loved in elementary school, but was too afraid to tell him. By the time I had the courage to tell him how I felt, MANY years later, he was dead, WAY too young. I sometimes go back to that playground where he and I used to hang out on. I sit on the pitchers mound where we would play pickle, close my eyes and I think of this song. It brings him to me again. I miss him, but I know he is watching over me and always will. I love you Andy, always........

@veight84 So sad, but true. So far the 90's were the best times of my life. I had a great job, my dad was alive (he died in 2001) I was having great times with friends. Some are gone, some I've found on Facebook. Life is short, and it's these moments that will never come again. I love this song! Cherish life!
