  • Eating actual natural food as our bodies evolved over millions of years to do can cure all sorts of ailments. Great work in educating people with your program!

    At one point I had blood pressure that was up at 180/120 as an average! I managed to cure my own hypertension, today I am down at 115/70. And I have created a guide at highbloodpressurecures.info that includes the vitamins, minerals, diet and methods that I used to heal myself.

  • hey people don't eat any medecine!!! Get  C, D vitamins, potassiuma and magnesium and 20-30 minutes of fast walking, get sweat ! And no processed food just homemade meals! Eat meatless tacos, fajitas, nachoos, chinese (all meatless)

  • Thanks for your advise. I'm alway buying low sodium Kwong Brand (2% or 15% sodium) . My problem is a lack of exercise. Also i love cheese which is loaded with sodium too.. 20 min. of fast walking on treadmill drops my blood pressure 10mg but most of the time i can't find time for it . Right now i don't exercise and I'm at 130/90. If i would exercise awould be 120/80 or so. I don't eat meat for a year , but once a month i have some meat meal like koser hot dogs or burger.

  • I'm on high blood pressur emedicien now. .Sometimne I notice when I forget to take it , my blood pressure is still pretty much the same. I hate taking the pills though. I've started eating better and I do an hour a day on the eliptical machine.

  • Well, I dropped my high BP with eating NO animal fat at all = NO Cholesterol,NO eggs. I eat delicius warm chinese homemade food , lot of garlic, veggies, olive oil, mushrooms and soy sauce. I can't eat so much raw veggies and fruits, it's no fun. I love warm meals as mongolian mushrooms, vegetable stir fries with rice, mexican meals with NO animal fat, NO meat, The blood pressure drops this way nicely down!

  • @morisssey You know that soy sauce is loaded with sodium. That is alot of salt in your diet. Pretty much you guarantee getting high bp with that diet. Don't take my advice take a nutritional class from your local college or talk to dietitian. Also common sense

  • @muttr Sorry no. The health sciences are backing away from the high sodium/ high BP link. If you have a healthy diet and proper exercise then the salt in soy sauce is completely irrelevent.

    lots and lots and LOTS of vegetables and other raw foods such as nuts, hemp, spirulina have EFAs and "real" protein. Mexico used Spirulina algae as their main source of protein for over 5000 years.

  • hmm interesting, I have 138/82 wich is a handicap level for a 20 year old physicly active guy. My organs like heart and kidneys are in perfect shape and I don't smoke or drink or anything like that. However I hate fruits, barely eat any at all but I do like vegetables. Doctors have no idea why I have HBP and I hate ANY kind of medication yet I am cused to use BP pills for the rest of my days. Looks like I will give fruits a try, hopefully I can get better...eat balanced food people

  • @Desolator1 ..i am 28 in the exact same boat, weight 178, 6"1 and workout including a lot of cardio...my HBP is caused by anxiety, but i dropped my medicines and took up juicing it has worked wonders. now my blood pressure is pretty consistantly at 115/73 or so.

  • @amphaynes how long did it take you to drop your blood pressure to normal? By juicing you mean drink a lot of juice or eat a lot of fruits or both? What was your earlier BP? 115/73 is superb BP! Well done! Hope to get somewhere close to that soon...

  • well before it was high, i even had to go to the hospital cause i was having an anxiety attack because of it and that made it worse...it was around 160/100, but i bought a juicer and read up on veggies that are supposed to lower HBP and it has worked...i juice celery, asparagus, kale, carrots, beets, cucumbers. chard, broccoli, spinach, and other weird stuff i can find at a farmers market...not necessary all together. worth a shot cause regardless all that stuff is really healthy anyways

  • I started taking Levodyn because i was keen to bring my blood pressure down without resorting to prescription medicine. i have been taking it for less than 4 weeks but have already noticed a change. Before taking Levodyn my blood pressure was 152/86, it is now 128/76. i am really impressed.

  • Your body recycles most of the protein and you do not need a lot each day. Tomatoes have plenty and they have more than mothers breast milk per serving.

  • @NYCman530 Maybe you would be interested to know what happens to rats when they are fed 20% animal protein vs what happens when they are fed 5% animal protein?   • Protein breaks down into basic amino acids when you eat them. Fruits and vegetables are chock full of amino acids. Since they don't occur in the more complex protein that needs to be broken down by the digestive system before your body can use it to nourish and repair tissues, you get the benefits much faster from eating raw fruits and vegetables.

  • Meat and cheese are the two worst things you can eat and are best avoided. Seafood is a proven cancer food.Green vegetables contain plenty of protein, so you maintain your strength, while loosing fat and increasing color in your skin.Milk is hazardous to your health.

  • Nature intended cow's milk to be used for baby cows. Humans are the only species that eat another animal's milk! Isn't that interesting?

    Yes pasteurized milk is put in a giant vault, heated to boiling temperatures, then packaged and sold to unsuspecting humans. The meat and dairy industry are huge, and they don't want us to know that they are selling disease and death to nations.

  • Vit. D is free = sunshine. Calcium shouldn't come from milk as that is the wrong kind of calcium. Get the right kind they way cows do, green leafy foods.

  • Do your research, not everyone can get vitamin d that way. The mechanism can becom disordered. Also, supplemental vitamin d is a good treatment for some problems, including at least osteoperenia (sp), EVEN in folks who get lots of sun.

  • Teeth are bones and once they are in your mouth they really can't be strengthened. As a baby, teeth are growing new and if a baby eats only raw food from an early age, their teeth will be very strong for life. Taking care of your teeth as best you can should be all you should worry about. You can't really change them, save for keeping them healthy by proper hygiene.

  • Warm water/salt and lemon juice in the sink.Put whatever it is you want to wash and then watch the Exon oil spill rise to the top.This info came when i bought my Juiceman many years ago.Rinse with distilled water so you do not rinse it with water that has flouride.

  • they don't look healthy, either of them. i wouldn't trust him. i'm in to nutrition and lots of raw food, but all that fruit, especially bannanas...can you say diabetes?!?! bannanas are hybridised (cross bred) to contain a ton of sugar, you need CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM CO Q10 AND FOLATE, found in greens and nuts seeds etc. pottassium aswell, ut you don't need all those bannanas, just cucumber etc. olive leaf and hawthorn berries are also effective herbal remedies.

  • I've been raw over four months now. My blood pressure is still too high off medication (I'm 37 years old). I must be a special case. I'm sure there is an answer but I have searched high and low and have yet to find it. No-one else seems to be able to figure it out or they won't say what worked for them when you ask. It's quite disappointing for me.

  • Absolutely. I consume nothing with refined sugars, so no soft drinks in particular. Mostly I have fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, and when I do eat something that's been prepared by a company I read the label to make sure it doesn't have anything I'd rather avoid.

    Meanwhile my uncle is working with me using an alternative modality to see if the blood pressure problem can be solved.

  • I never tried this studied this or anything. However, this woman at my old job who doesn't like to talk to ANYONE told me something about a surgery using some sort of ballon that widens an artery (or vein. Cant remember) in your leg and somehow this lets blood pass through faster and with less pressure and she is now of of her BP medication. The only thing I can think of is an Angioplasty. I think thats how you spell it. I wanted to investigate that further but I also wanted to change my diet

  • You are right.But can you get enough protein and carbs from fruits,vegetables and nuts so that you don't lose too much weight?I mean if you are a hard physical worker who burns alot of callories during work you would surely start losing alot of weight.If you have a non-physical demanding job that's a different story.If you work hard labor you can't afford to start losing muscle and become weak.

  • I had high blood pressure last year about 145-155/85-90.But now it's about 125/75.What worked for me is that I started running five times a week and started eating bananas,apples,mango every day.The most important thing is that you must exercise hard so that your body sweats alot and not go too easy on yourself like the doctors keep telling you.You also must drink at least 2 liters of water a day and cut down on products that contain white flour,dairy products,canned foods,salt and sweets.

  • Last night I had Chineese food with Sunkist Soda and today my BP was 154/110

    My Doctor has me under Avalid 150mg which I hate to take because when I eat right and sleep well I can control my BP without taking the Avalid... BUT my sleep disorder and eating the wrong food is the main reason. I can steel feel the sodium in my mouth from the chicken wings... like an after taste of salt.

    Last night I was not able to sleep right because of the meal I had... I'm 36 also 40 lbs over!

  • Yes. Funnel Cakes lack nutrition,and any meat product raises blood pressure. The Old Grand Dad could contribute.

  • i had hypertension when i was pregnant in 2002 until 2005. doctors say it's not curable. it's manageable, they say. balderdash! i hit the gym and became a vegetarian. goodbye, hypertension!

  • Yes raw foods treatment, even this specific program, is the path to healing for many. I like to hear about people joyously gorging down eighteen bananas a day, and carrot juice is nice too. Obviously people should approach Raw Foods holistically (Paleo, Fruitarian, sunfoodist, liquidarian &c.) and find within the variety what works for them. Division is the weakness of the Raw Food movement, its utter truth the strength! ...and remember your starches, folks!

  • Thank you- I've had this all my life where my throat and inside of ears start to itch really bad, and bad enough to make me want to vomit sometimes. Surprisingly I've recently met a few people with the same reaction! I found that bananas, cantalope etc belong to the ragweed family 0.o Tummy's actually ok though.
