The only part I couldnt figure out is the false cutting so i do it with forced cards, same effect realy but you do it brilliantly, "I dont even have a pocket" is the best line ive ever heard in a trick hahaha

I love this part of the routine. I often do it if I have a table handy.

My friends have told me to drop the 'mistakes' whilst trying to find the final selected card. I've been told that it undermines the fact that it's changing, and he's probably right. What do you think?

Also as I practice i see that you have to have a relatively new deck especially for ghostcut deck.

It didn't take long for me to get this routine down because I already knew all of the sleights necessary and I'm very comfortable with all of the moves and misdirection needed. Sometimes, if it's too new of a deck though, then it also won't work.
