The thing that gets me is that our government wants us to support abortions overseas, but our money is paying for coerced abortions for married Chinese women who don't want to kill their children. I think that both pro life and pro choice should be able to agree: paying taxes to support American funding of abortions in countries where it is being foisted on innocent women against their will is against what both sides stand for. We need to stop this.

Here we go. You are fighting a cause that, while related, is NOT about the abortion issue. If you have a problem with organized religion, go argue about that. I don't say abortion is wrong due to blind religious fanaticism, and I know they're out there. Believe me, blind opinions without backing are not something I agree with. what solution do you have for china? i don't have none and i have never heard of them not letting women move out of the country if they so desire. if the government says 1 child per couple the populace must obey. the government has proposed this as an overall future survival method. it is not to punish women, even if it does seem to punish a few here and there. it is not about the person but the chinese people altogether. everyone must do their part.

There are churches in my area that will actually not only pay for you to go to the doctor, but will provide transportation for you to get to the doctor. Also the good that PP does, is out weighed by all the bad. Such as accepting money under racist terms, subverting the Hyde Amendment, not reporting statutory rape, etc etc etc.........Oh yeah not to mention slaughtering innocent children by the millions.

My friends live in Raleigh, but they can probably afford their own health care.  What's at issue here is YOU ARE LYING. Planned Parenthood provides health care screening for women, and churches don't. If that's a false statement, prove it.

Churches can't provide free screenings, however there are churches that will pay for women, and men alike to have medical care. It's funny that you pick the state capital as the place where your friends live. The churches I am referring to are in the Elizabeth City area. I am not lying in any way. I also never said that PP didn't do the things you stated, I simply said that they do abortions as well.

Actually they do. They support adoption as well. I know a girl who went there and they helped her adopt.

Most of their money is from donations. Most of Planned Parenthood's clients are not even pregnant. Most people who go to planned parenthood go there to prevent pregnancy, get healthcare, and get diagnostic testing that they could not get elsewhere. BTW, my friend who eventually adopted is black.

I suppose that the people who work at planned parenthood kid themselves that they are helping women. Abortions may be the quickest way to solve an unwanted pregnancy but this does not make it the right one.
