Wow, these two great dancing ladies and Ricardo M., It's too much for the senses, especially with those costumes. One of them with Ricardo is scorching , but two is brain overload. I would like to see these two ladies dancing alone together in another number with simple costumes so the focus would be on their talent. The move where he picks them both up is beautiful though, like a butterfly.
@bocaknights1 I may be wrong, but it's my understanding that the 3 remained close throughout their Hollywood careers. I've seen and read that Ms.M was fond of both of her co-stars, but the friendship between Cyd and Ricardo was never-ending! There used to be a clip here on YT where Cyd literally announced, pushed and presented Ricardo in his wheelchair, honoring him with an award! That's friendship!
@IrritatingAsp I'm so glad you enjoyed this as a child! Hope you didn't graduate from a fan to anything more threatening! Just joking; I'm delighted to hear from you and grateful for your comment. Happy Holidays!
@peteandpare Hi! Thanks so much for your message! I don't recall Mr. Montalban ever dancing again with Ms. Miller, but he danced a lot with sultry Cyd Charisse! I know they made 3-4 more films together. They weren't always the leads, but the pairing of these two must have made "air-conditioning" a MUST in many movie theaters around the world. Happy to hear from you!
In watching it again, I have to add "Love, Passion, Anger, and Jealousy" is captured in their dance. What a joy to watch. My wife and I are dancers, and we will be practicing some of their elements for our own performance.
@ultimo38 A performance I suspect will be a winner! Please consider having it recorded! I'd be very honored to view you both, and imagine you've many loved ones who feel the same way! I'll be first in line, or maybe second, as family comes first, but would just like to be included! Best wishes to you both.
@ultimo38 You're right about "Dancing with the Stars!" Sad part is I suspect very few of today's contestants could even approach these 3 brilliant performers! Grateful to hear from you, and I'm proud of your wise assesment of this little clip. These 3 were among the greatest Hollywood ever show-cased dancing together! Mil gracias!!
I really NEVER get tired of watching this. It's delightful. Cyd Charisse was fabulous and is deservedly famous. Ann Miller is underappreciated--not only for her dancing but also her singing and acting. See her in Kiss Me Kate, and you'll see what I mean. She has a dance scene in this movie that will cause any heterosexual guy to have steam coming out of his ears.
My two favorite female dancers in one sequence! What a joy! Ann is so fiery and so much energy and fun and Cyd is so mysterious and sultry. Both amazing in their own way.
I never knew Ricardo Montalban was such an amazing dancer. The women were wonderful too. Was Ann Miller one of them? Who was the other one? What a treasure!
Now THAT'S entertainment. The Dance of Fury is fabulous! I never get tired of watching it. I agree with Reichmarshall Goering that Ricardo Montalban deserves to be remembered for more than Fantasy Island and the Wrath of Kahn.
I agree with you about Montalban's work being more than Fantasy Island or Star Trek. But remember for many of us "40ish" crowd, Roarke and Khan were the roles that introduced us to Ricardo Montalban. For that I am thankful. These roles opened up the door to the knowledge of the rest of Montalban's talents that might have never been discovered by us who first knew Ricardo Montalban as Mr. Roarke. They truly don't make actors like Ricardo Montalban anymore.
That's right, misheemom. I belong to the generation who used to watch "Fantasy Island" but I had already watched some films of his before. One can't deny this TV show and "Wrath of Khan" made him even better known, and once more I agree with you: there might be other Latin lovers futurely, but equal to him... no.
Am I correct in my belief that the reason that this video is titled "Dance of Jealousy" on Youtube, opposed to its original name "The Dance of Fury", is because if it were under its original name it would be taken off of Youtube? If so...clever! LOL!
Great! This is so much fun I had seen it on tv some time ago and it is a wonderful dance so much talent! Ricardo is gorgeous and what a nice man! I love all three of them.
Thank you! Though grateful for his presence, It's sad to note that his 2 sensational partners are no longer with us. I'm very grateful for your comment. I wish you a very Happy New Year!

This was a movie starring Frank Sinatra and Kathryn Grayson. The Kissing Bandit. Frank was ambarrased by it and this is the best scene for me.
