Pode há ver muitos guitarristas bons por ai, mais todos sabem eque como o Slash jamais vai existir, Slash é o melhor do mundo, o mais amado do mundo, o mais foda... Não existe e nunca vai existi algo como Slash, e esses museus que ainda comentam por ai, kkkkkkk me polpe né, não é nada ao lado do Slash! ;)
o slash nao eh o melhor guitarrista do mundo, o jimi era muito melhor que ele, mas o slash é um gênio da guitarra, ele mistura um ritmo com melodia... algumas pessoas acham q sao boas só pq fazem os solos do slash... mas o slash nao copiou os solos de ninguem, ele os criou, sao lentos porem sao uma mistura de heavy metal e romance. sao musicas que tocam.. e por isso sao até hj adoradas pelos fãs... nesses botecos tem caras que copiam, mas nem um deles eh um genio como o Slash...
Sim, posso citar diversos melhores que ele: Stevie ray vaughan, jimmy page, jimi hendrix, carlos santana, john pettrucci, eddie van halen, les paul, etc.
Mas ele continua sendo o melhor. E se quer saber essas pessoas que o criticam so o fazem pois ele e o unico guitarrista "moderno", ele virou a "modinha", porque na verdade mesmo muitos que percebem isso continuam falando bem. os que veem essa modinha e reclamam sao simplesmente aqueles que nao gostavam de guns n velha escola, e agora o critica!
Pois se ele fosse qualquer 1, o nome dele não estaria no hall da fama de guitarristas, la em hollywood. Pra quem nao sabe, o nome do Slash ta a 2 quadros a esquerda do JIMI HENDRIX! É por isso que ELE foi chamado pra tocar no tributo ao Jimi hendrix, hey joe. E por isso que ele é inspirado no jimy page. é por isso que por mais de nao criar solos dificeis como algo metallica, na lista do vh1 e da rollingstone ele é citado como 9(vh1), mas o kirk hammett nem sequer está na lista!
O que o Slash faz é diferente por que.... simplesmente pq o blues que ele toca bem da raiz. Ele faz a mais simples música sair como ouro da Les Paul dele! :)

ok, 1. you can't compare slash to gilbert or ynwie...such n such...because slash never strived in the first place to achieve that physical ability to play like that. he strived to gain feeling in playing and emotion and to communicate to the audience through his guitar. soo hes not just another lickster. not many ppl can add emotion to their music. shredders play with bullshitly fast tempos but u can't feel their music. iunno if u understand but yeah =)
the music video for Estranged is a little cheesy with the first conveyor belt solo then the solo coming out of the water. but that sure as hell doesnt take away from the magnificent solos.

The thing I've always loved about slash is that he has such style in his playing. Sure there are faster guitarists out there but most can't do anything but play fast and sweep pick like hell. Slash has always had that kinda bluesy feel, and that rules.
it's funny,cause from 0:27 to 1:12 he's pretty much faking for the video. Doesn't mean he can't do it though,it's just an amp and effects machines would ruin the look of him playing in the middle of the desert.
You fake it for every video. You don't play the music live and film it. You lip sync, fake guitar, drums still have to play but not as hard to avoid getting off the playback track that would be playing over a PA system

ok, 1. you can't compare slash to gilbert or ynwie...such n such...because slash never strived in the first place to achieve that physical ability to play like that. he strived to gain feeling in playing and emotion and to communicate to the audience through his guitar. soo hes not just another lickster. not many ppl can add emotion to their music. shredders play with bullshitly fast tempos but u can't feel their music. iunno if u understand but yeah =)

The thing I've always loved about slash is that he has such style in his playing. Sure there are faster guitarists out there but most can't do anything but play fast and sweep pick like hell. Slash has always had that kinda bluesy feel, and that rules.

it's funny,cause from 0:27 to 1:12 he's pretty much faking for the video. Doesn't mean he can't do it though,it's just an amp and effects machines would ruin the look of him playing in the middle of the desert.

You fake it for every video. You don't play the music live and film it. You lip sync, fake guitar, drums still have to play but not as hard to avoid getting off the playback track that would be playing over a PA system
