    love it.

    thank you

  • sam cooke is the greatest singer and what a music

    thank you

  • JUST MISSED!!! "Ain't That Good News" just missed making the Billboard's Hot Top 10 chart; it peaked at No. 11 and spent a total of 10 weeks in the Hot Top 100 in 1964...

This was the 2nd of three straight records by Mr. Cooke that all peaked at No. 11; it started with "Little Red Rooster", then this one, and finally "Good Times". And interestingly all three records spent 10 weeks apiece in the Top 100...

  • @faraji22 I could not have said it better. I have over 1200 oldies on my channel. I'll give you all one guess who I started it with on Sept. 18 2009. Thank you for that comment! S Carino

  • Sam Cooke is The Worlds Greatest Singer.

  • Only 45,000+ views? That's a crime.

Thank you Sam! The world is a sweeter place because of your talent.

  • does any now who made the rap remix to this song

  • I listened the version of Les Pauls, and was grate. Listening this one is perfect... Love both

  • I don't know if anyone else said this yet, but it's pretty much just different lyrics to "I Got a Woman." But, that doesn't matter to me, cause I'd listen to Sam singing the ingredients to a can of soup.

  • @BigJH37 Isn't that the truth !! I have always loved this song, especially when he "disconnects the telephone" !!!

    thanks for the post.

  • Okay, I love listening to the oldies music channel on my television and this song came on. My husband deployed about four months and will be back tomorrow. Strange... but it's got me so excited.

  • My favorite Sam Cooke song - well, tied w/ Bring it on Home. Think Elvis liked the melody for Little Less Conversation??

  • @TheGodzillaGodzilla oops! I mean Viva Las Vegas!

  • Still sounding GREAT. Another of Sam's greatest songs. I still LOVE this song. Thanks for posting it.

  • dam!!! i herd dis niggah shot by a ho in his hotel...

  • LOVE SAM COOKE!!!

  • @Olitash I, too, have often lamented the lame orchestrations in Sam's recordings. I think it must've been fashionable at the time. Have you checked out his work with the Soul Stirrers?

  • he can sing a newspaper lol

  • Beautiful teeth...although a smoker...yet he has the pipes...God bless his soul...

  • @drobiness He smoked??? I didn't know that! But man, could he sing.

  • @MsTruthFinder101 Smoked during performances at nite clubs...He was one sexy, handsome man!!!
