This show rules beyond all belief just like the movies. I'm not being some lame ironic internet hipster about it either, they rocked. Everything for kids these days is based on 10-15 year olds having Mary Sue adventures and never growing up, that or buying Japanese card games. I wish there were more action cartoons like this these days. It needs to be Kombat Time again!

Its also amazing how much of the cartoon/movie flavor of MK made it into the last two games (MK VS DC and MK 9).

True true, probably not the best catch phrase for a show :) it would be like Guile going "Its Street Fightin' time!" ... but I think its that kind of lameness that reminds me that once things were allowed to be cool even if they were a cheesy. :)

Just kinda sick of awesome or over the top things being too relegated to ironic hipster takes on nerd culture like Scott Pilgrim.

Also, ya know they had to tone the show down for kids and the movies too. But I'm surprised at how much the games take from them like Kano being British, the idea that the good guys fight invasions as part of a super team (MK Vs DC evn with wrist coms like the cartoon). lol in the new game the first few chapters are pretty much taken right out of how the movie portrays the tournament.

Anyway, always liked this particular episode, Sonya's by far my favorite character. :)
