well its reasonable issue. i have no complaints about it. not all westerners are in love with japan base games so they cant just release any games that is out in japan plus foreign policy and rules etc. well least we get the lego batman spiderman games lmao. love the west or love the east. your choice.
Funny thing is the game was released in the UK and other places in english same with BOF3. Just gotta go on Ebay and hunt it down. I'm actually really pissed off Sony hasn't allowed a lot of these games here in the US. Just like on the Playstation Network there are few PSone games for download here but in Japan there are a bunch of games for download. Compared to our like 15 games here all crappy besides like Castlevania and Wild arms; Japan has atleast 70 or so.
No, it is not. Tales of Destiny 2 is a sequel to Tales of Destiny for the PS2, Namco renamed Tales of Eternia to Tales of Destiny II for marketing purposes.
It was released here in the US around the early 2000's. However the time couldn't be worse for the game since the Dreamcast and the PS2 were all the rage back then. Anyway, TOE was renamed Tales of Destiny 2 because of the fact that the Eternia name was already in use for Hasbro's He-Man line.
reason is probably that Sony America didn't approve the game; they didn't approve breath of fire 3 either because it was a port without additional content.

The original name of this game in is Tales of Eternia. However when it was released in US, it was renamed as Tales of Destiny 2.
In Japan, there is another PS2 game named Tales of Destiny 2. It is the sequel of Tales of Destiny.

Why would they bother renaming it at all? They're not going to release Tales Of Destiny "2" in North America anyway.
