  • Your style is very smooth! and I too am a gospel and funk guitarist. however, I'm still having problems with my shout chords. Of course I use to play secular music, so the transition to me has been unique! to say the least! although i've been at it for some time it yet presents a challenge to me. You have an EXCELLENT EAR by the way!

  • Praise God, for you brother you have an amazing gift,I play by ear also and my challenge has been understanding chords and what parts to do runs on as far as phrasing while playing.I find myself repeating the same things at times, do you have any advice you can share if you don't mind.

  • nice video as usual-funny- i was about to put a video up of me playin to the same song but I wasnt real haappy with it- anyway- at 2:22 when you go in to the fast pattern there-are you picking each note and are you doing like a strict up/down alternate picking or are you sweeping? sorry to always be asking stuff but i dig your stuff
