this is great for people like me. I just played through the first game but didnt really understand every detail of what was going on. i got mad ADD and the conversations are a lil to long to hold my attention so i mess parts of the plot. this quick summary brought it all together for me :)

i've tried quite a few games recently and none have really captured my interest. This though (Mass Effect 2) is different - I'm not usually one for RPGs but the action elements to this are as good if not better than any gears of war or call of duty - and the story and script is way better.You can play it as an action game or be quite tactical depending on your style.

For all those who apparently arent smart enough to know themselfs: This vid was made for all gamers who are going to play ME2 on the PS3. The PS3 never had ME1, so this vid allows them to know what happened before ME2. There also is an interactive vid in the game wich let you make choices PC and Xbox360 players had to do in ME1.

A little side note though: I think I saw a brief second of the Stolen Memories DLC in there. It's when the new N7 armor slides out on the tray at 1:35. I might be wrong though.

I agree wholeheartedly with what Time Magazine said about Mass Effect 2... This game is probably the most immersive game I have ever played. It's such a huge leap to in the gaming industry... Import your current saved file, the dialogue options, the graphics, the gameplay, the different endings etc. The developers put a lot of effort into making this game...

Fun facts: This video was recorded in a haste - Shepard is not a "soldier" and is wearing light armor in ME1 footage instead of heavy one in all other promo materials. And there are also some screenshots on the official site with non-canon non-standard female shepard, which is unusual.
