  • But I thought the Kia Sportage was FWD by default so it can get good fuel economy.

  • BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA... Anything like Subaru's Symmetrical AWD.

  • @hwarangitf or Subaru's bad MPG

  • 3:37 just impressed me

We all know Audi & Toyota fail this test

  • ur late!!!

  • Why other car makers cant create a system similar to the Symetrical AWD from Subaru?...is there any kind of monopoly or limitation???

Damn!, I cant believe Subaru is the only one able to make a system that can send all the power to one wheel with traction, and no body else in the market has been able to design something similar.

All the AWD system in the market besides Symetrical AWD work like the same, some worse than others.

  • @wtrdogg20 Actually, the "Subaru Symmetrical AWD" system is patented and is the only one maker that can use it. Some other manufactures want it but can't get it, just like GM and Toyota. That's complex.

In the other hand, think that Subaru has been continuously develop their system for 40 years, so you cant wait that a system developed on 3 o 2 years can compare whit the Subaru's performance.

    See ya!.

  • @hwarangitf Yeah, thats right.

I think the only system closer to that is the VW 4Motion and the Audi Quattro last generation.

  • i had test drive and its awd antl it reach to 80km/h then it goes front wheel . but the car was so smooth on the road

  • Wow sounds like this DynaMax drive train does everything from preventing over heating to improving gas milage to predicting the road conditions (i.e. predicting the future?). For anyone who believes any of that I have some magic dust I'll sell to you really cheap.....it makes anything you sprinkle it onto fly. ;) Subaru and Audi have the only "true AWD" systems out there, sorry Kia but you'll have to take your cheaply built cars and magic AWD else where.

  • @porsche558 Thid video doesn't tell all the truth.. U can actually lock the diff in Kia's AWD-system, and makes it the only real AWD-system with Subaru out there. Audi doesn't have difdlock? But only con in this Kia system is that the max speed with difflock turned on is 40kph

  • @porsche558 nope sorry i drive one and its amazing... kk

  • @porsche558 True awd is subaruuu.Audi Depends on the model

  • Is this Dynamax also available for the Kia Sorento ?

  • Tucson uses the Haldex4 by the swedish Haldex.

  • subaru is the best this makes no sence

  • any test video that compares to other brand AWD system ?

  • Is this the same system used in the Hyundai Tucson? I bought the new Hyundai Tucson and so far it has done what is explained here but I think it does not mean it's really it. Does anybody know if the it's the same?

  • @JoeDeath50

I never heard Hyundai's new tucson has the DynaMax.

  • Comment removed

  • to those last two, say what? Subaru? wow really? I mean Kia and Hyundai's really starting to grow big these days you put a garbage like that of Subaru next to them?

  • No, I don't think this system is as good Subaru's but it is still very good and better than most.

  • Is this the same system as they use on the Hyundai Tucson? Hyundai Santa Fe?

They showed left or right torque balance, but I wonder what happpens if only the front or rear are on low/no traction?

  • @WRX4moi See: Subaru Symmetrical AWD vs. Honda, Toyota, and Volkswagen in my Favourites-

  • @WRX4moi

Do you think kia awd system is not as good as Subaru's?

  • @WRX4moi That video is excellent.. It's well explained... now I see why subaru AWD is so well rated... !

  • @WRX4moi I had a similar question. The announcer talked about distributing power to the front and rear axles...yet the video seems to reflect power being distributed to the wheels, side to side. I think it's misleading. I would guess that the power goes from front to back, but not side to side. But, at least it does have a locking feature for 50/50 split torque.

  • never thought i would say this but KIA finally made something nice
