well its indian paki and also bengali tradition..for bengalis they call it haldi in terms of hindi..when the bride n groom are getting prepared for the marriage.I am from bangladesh and we follow this culture too

It's not Pakistani either... it just a desi-muslim tradition. I'm Indian and we have mehndi's as well.
That's the most hardocre stage I've seen for a mehdni, kudos!
