  • Quilico in his prime, he makes Québec proud!

  • His Italian is all wrong, but a good sound.. He misses a couple of entrances too. Im singing this in recital tomorrow night at New England Conservatory of Music, wish me luck!

  • @drummerkid187

Maybe the inexactitude has something to do with the fact that the conductor is behind his back. A French Canadian sings bad Italian? Maybe it's revenge for Pinza's French.

  • woah,so was this written for baritones?b/c i have a cd of luciano pavarotti singing it

  • wow... a baby louis. what a great job. i loved louis. was a great singer and very nice guy also. you ask why we don't have voices like this around anymore.... one reason is a lot of the people who run companys and hire singers have shit for brains. they look for tall and skinny or whatever and pass up the voice. you're also right who said he had a great technique. was a very large voice with great top. interesting how he changed his technique a little as he got older.

  • Why can't we find singers like that anymore. It's beautiful, natural, easy, no effects, just nice musical singing.

Why can't you singers take exemple on these tresors?

Imagine going to a concert today and be sitting in front of a singer of that quality.

I saw his son in concert many years ago. Very good looking, wonderful actor but not half the voice of his father...

  • Excellent voice, excellent technique.

  • very good baritone bravo

  • Do not hear enough(or have enough on film) of this fine baritone. Thank you for posting, GOS.
