@TheNickjenn I like linux for cloud hosting, but the convenience and many features of Windows 7 clearly puts windows back on top. I personally had no qualms with Vista (Fishta), but Windows 7 solved everyone's woes. Come on over linux users, the water is great on Win 7.

@Cyclonexman Well, yesterday I was at my friend's house and used his Mac. It took about 5 minutes to boot up, about five times slower than my PC. I must say, I still don't like the interface, and finding the internet was difficult to do unless you know that the bottom bar has to be pulled up. Google Chrome didn't work, so I was forced to use Safari. Finding the "x" button on Safari was hard to do seeing as it's on the left and is just a red light. Also, it runs slower than my PC.

Macs aren't junk, but I can't find a justifiable reason for overpaying for a computer with less computing power. Some Mac users claim Macs have less problems, which is probably true if you are incapable of maintaining a computer properly, at which point you should probably go take a intro to computers class or just buy a netbook. I used an iMac for about a year and it had equally as many issues as my PC ever did. I'm not saying they're junk, I'm asking specifically to name some advantages.
@MK4vDubbin No Registry for the Mac OS, which means less errors and no viruses (it's very simple to delete Apple Script if you happen to get something). Windows 7 is 16gb, Snow Lep >5gb. Windows uses ~956MB to operate, Mac ~600MB. If you have a problem with your Mac you can call in and speak with an American (in CA) as well stores are everywhere and quick with repairs. Apple is very propitiatory and their products work seamless together Windows CAN bring headaches. BTW I use both systems.

@Shmekekey its not just os x. Look at the iphones and ipads. They won't even play flash video unless you hack it. My old school had a crapload of macs. The older versions of Imac as well. And the mouse was set up to do just the one click. Macs aren't junk, but I can't find a justifiable reason for overpaying for a computer with less computing power. Some Mac users claim Macs have less problems, which is probably true if you are incapable of maintaining a computer properly, at which point you should probably go take a intro to computers class or just buy a netbook. I used an iMac for about a year and it had equally as many issues as my PC ever did. I'm not saying they're junk, I'm asking specifically to name some advantages.

@MK4vDubbin No Registry for the Mac OS, which means less errors and no viruses (it's very simple to delete Apple Script if you happen to get something). Windows 7 is 16gb, Snow Lep >5gb. Windows uses ~956MB to operate, Mac ~600MB. If you have a problem with your Mac you can call in and speak with an American (in CA) as well stores are everywhere and quick with repairs. Apple is very propitiatory and their products work seamless together Windows CAN bring headaches. BTW I use both systems.

My old school had a crapload of macs. The older versions of Imac as well. And the mouse was set up to do just the one click. So I went into the Mouse preference thing and changed it to two clicks and it worked just fine. Anyone with a basic knowledge for computers should have been able to do this, so the people that said "MACS ONLY HAVE ONE BUTTON DX" are idiotards. That isnt to say I dont prefer PC over Macs, but I just appreciate all kinds of technology.

Jesus people. Why argue that the Mac doesn't have a right click when it's only in System Preferences, go in there, go to mouse, and go to secondary click, and hit right on the drop down. *GASP!* OMG! ITS AMAZING! If you don't like the Magic Mouse, you don't have to use it, there's other options and the PC mice work flawlessly on a Mac as well. I have one a Mac and a Magic Mouse and 3 other mice from the PC days and still use those..

You can right click WITHOUT the mouse.
Just click on the apple on the top left of the screen
click system preferences
then click trackpad
then check the "clicking" checkbox.
Then you will be able to right click by tapping with 2 fingers.

I don't think fighting over what's better, a Mac or a PC, or saying Mac > PC or the other way around is necisary. It's whatever the user perfers (or can afford :P). I personally like PCs, but I don't hate mac, I just don't know nearly as much about macs than I do with PCs. Plus I can deal with a few rare crashes here and there, (windows 7 changed from 'all the time' to 'here and there' lol) I perfer PC, but that doesn't make PCs better than Macs. :)
