@KevServo New Blackadder?!? Without Stephen, Hugh, Rowan, and company it just would not be the same. They are all brilliant and they got to work together.
@MsCurry85 Agreed. It needs Rowan, Tony, Dark Lord Fry, Hugh and Tim. And writers Ben and Richard. And producer John. And composer Howard. However, I don't think it should be a series, more a bunch of one-off episodes or two-parters. Just to keep the humour fresh and biting.
"Shurrup, me mum and dad am in!" Oh god I couldn't help but explode with joy metaphorically at her dialect. <333 It's close enough for me to love it explosively.
10 seasons total. Ryan first appears in season 2, Colin in season 3. They became regulars (that is, appearing in every single episode) in seasons 7 and 8, respectively.
@MistaDollaD I wouldn't say it was better before or after they were regulars. The production was so tight that the quality never dropped even after Paul Merton, Jim Sweeney and Steve Steen went to pursue other interests, or Tony Slattery was sacked, or Mike McShane quit. Never kept failing to keep the laughs coming.
It must be said that Peter Cook was the greatest at improv, but the format of Whose Line didn't suit him. Look at the performances he gave on Clive Anderson Talk's Back in 1992. Genius.
Mmmm.... I see all the contestants and even the audience so unconfortable with this host. Is it just me?

RomyLuvsIndie 3 years ago 2
He's probably one of the best people at improv when he is in good condition but when filming this he is obviously not in good condition.
