Nice! I been having a blast reading all the comments funny as hell. People love to be critics. Every fishing video I see theres always a few catch and release drama queens. Someone is always trying to take the little bit of affirmation and approval that people are seeking by picking them apart. But hey Nice Catch. Oh yea when someone says Not to be a dick they mean they are about to be one.
hey bro, im from new hampshire and i dont go fishing too much, but i like to go as much as i can. and when i do, usually i keep my trout, but to see you catch a 20 inch rainbow and throw it back, that says your in it for the sport. good angling
nice fish dude..spinner? classic look back at the camera when you hooked up by the way..funny shit...stop arguing with this prick on here...keep doing what ur doing...smash it!
@RebubulaXsea Thanks Man! Finally someone who isn't trying to give me shit. I was gonna pull it cause of all the negative critisism, but with your good advice.. it's staying on! p.s. blue/silver phoebe
Impartial observer in complete agreement with congo man . Fish out of water WAAY too long . Spin fishing is not imoral it is just that as your video demonstrates . Treble barbed hooks are the problem . Joe you had way too much trouble removing the hooks . Simply replace the terrible treble your meps with a single { preferably barbeless hook , its easy to do and will save lives . }
Not true that big fish wont take small flies .Ive landed 20 " RBs on size 18 flies in VT
You should check out my group on facebook, "Northeast kingdom Anglers" and see what fishing is about, family and friends, the fish and the outdoors. And why your at it maybe you can post some pic/video of some fish you caught.
Did you really see something wrong with that release? I only had it out of water for a minute, and used the proper tool to remove the hook. The fish shot right out of my hands as soon as it hit the water, most likely because the fish was landed rather quickly. Those fish are stocked by the state and most of the time don't make it through the season. BTW I thought you had a problem with 'spin anglers", but you fish for snook and redsfish?
Why would you have a bad attitude towards spin fisherman? I agree that it pisses me off when a 4 pound bobber and worm hits the water when your casting for rising trout, but this is brush country and it isn't always practical to fly fish. Plus, trophy trout almost always feed on other fish, something hard to duplicate with a fly rod. There all just different tactics to me. Fish is the name of the game. You should try spinfishing one day, you might like it!
