Guys Every one (there is "Steam.appid.txt " is in your Left 4 dead folder (Installed). Delete it And Enjoy :) Thumbs Up :)

I have the smae problem, but with mine when the bar gets to the end on the loading screen my l4d just crashes, like it automaticlly exits out of the game!!! This goes with singleplayer for me aswell!! i have brought l4d on steam, but it crashes! :( plz help me!

your lucky you get that far.

I can only play for about 4 seconds before the whole game freezes and I have to shut down the computer.

That and gmod wont show the props for the game.

I cannot even play online... I join a game, I play for literally about 10 seconds or a little bit more, and then the game goes silent, everything is replaying they're animation (The models in the game) and in the top right, I read. "WARNING: Connection Problem. Auto-Disconnect in 25.0"

Is there a fix for this? can it be fixed? L4D2 works perfectly fine, but we all know L4D2 sucks hairy horse balls...

I have LFD2 and I have a problem. I click quick match and it says searching... then it says Failed to find game matching your request etc. My connect is 3/2 bars and there is no lag on any other game. 1/10 chances I get in a game but the connection is terrible and I only play for around 20 seconds until I get kicked through connection or the loading bar does not fill. I have an XBOX 360 but I don't have a clue with what NAT means and this local server stuff! PLEASE REPOND! Thanks.

i get the problem EVERY freaking time when i join a random game.. it always freezes...

I have a similar problem that just started recently. When doing quick match or selecting a level from the "play online" game list, it will say "Establishing Connection to games" and then just sit there forever. After that, it will put me in an empty lobby. I can't join other people's games and they can't join mine. Even if a friend invites me to his game and I accept, it will still say "establishing connection" before kicking me out.

I don't know how to fix it.

Me neither but Valve's support team is actually pretty good so if you contact them they'll probably help.

Well, I haven't had any similar problems for a while. My guess is that a patch fixed it since I didn't do anything.

I been having problems with connections with Left 4 Dead except on Xbox Live. I play games like Halo 3 and Gta 4 decent with problems occuring here and there.

The main problem is with Left 4 Dead, I barely stay connected to online matches anymore. Once in blue moon I am actually able to finish a versus match to the end.

It usually occurs when players enter and leave the game mainly, and other times it just randomly happens with no reason I could specify.

Please Help if possible

you're too impatient... i sometimes take up-to 20 mins to load a map in the source ingen.

In the console, type 'openserverbrowser' so you get the standard server thing, and try joining one of them, That tends to fix any problems I get.
