  • your so right ! one day it will be illegal to cut or ( mutilate ) animal !

  • eeew, that sofa is nasty

  • Dobermans are so cute when their ears are floppy =D

  • Continued... Refreshing from being called a baby killer from anti-war hippies! You're clearly a fool. I rest my case.

  • @R0CK0N1 1. I have nothing bit the utmost respect and gratitude for the men and woman who have served in the Armed Forces.A heartfelt thanks for all that you have done, been through, and sacrificed for the rest of us. I am neither anti-soldier or pro hippie. Far from it;I am very proud of my volunteer work with the VA and associations. 2. Owning 6 Dobermans over my lifetime, all Cropped and Docked; and working with breeders of this awesome breed; leaves me quite INFORMED on the subject at hand

  • @LOKISlog7: You have no idea what you're talking about. 1. I have owned two Dobies, 1 black and tan and one red and tan both working dogs with uncropped ears. (The black and tan lived til 12 the red until 14 with no health problems. So that's your 2nd uninformed comment (your first being about ear cropping). The third uninformed comment you made was suggesting I am 'left-wing'. Ive served my country in two full tours of iraq so that's the first time I've ever been called 'left wing'! It's quite

  • My dobie had natural ears

  • I played this video to mess with my Mastiff. Great looking dog.

  • @BTroach2272 - and your opinion is just as valid as anyones, sir. However you don't get so many black and tan coonhounds where I'm from and most people wouldn't know what one is here. Also just to clarify, I do see a reason for tail docking eg. thin whippy tails often break on working Dobies. And one more thing, docking and cropping is illegal over here.

  • @gsdsteve - if you think a Dobie is 'ridiculous' without cropped ears then you obviously don't love the breed like I do. Maybe you should just stick with gsd's if you like dogs with pointed ears.

  • pretty yet scary

  • Both of my Dobermans have natural ears.

  • You don't crop the tail for looks. You crop it so it doesn't break and because dobermans have the ability to balance with a cropped tail.

  • @GuntheRsc i have found out that some dobermans have rather long tails and it can actually make their balance uneven (on the ones with really long tails) so sometimes it can actually be better for the dog sometimes if you cut their tail.

  • It's nice to see a Dobermann in it's natural state rather than tampered with like so many others. It always makes me laugh when people (usually Americans) make sweeping statements that Dobies "are meant to have cropped ears"... Get a fucking grip, you want your dog to look mean and by doing that you create a mean status symbol out of an awesome, loving animal. Get with the times, cropping is aesthetic and barbaric, there's no excuse.

  • @R0CK0N1 amen

  • @R0CK0N1 Someone needs to wash your mouth out with soap. If you're happy with a dog that looks ridiculous, it's fine with me.

  • @R0CK0N1im american i have 4dobermans and all have cropped ears 2 go to the nursing home and socalize with all the elders 1 is a service dog for my son an the other is a disk and agility dog I decided to crop all of their ears none would hurt a fly and i wont pretend they will Not all dogs are meant to have ears that stand up if they was they would stand by themselves with no crop but some prefer this look I like it cause they look like blk&tan coonhound with natural tail and ears in my opinion

  • @BTRoach2272 BRAVO to your comments- THUMBS UP

  • @R0CK0N1 I think most americans get them cropped n docked because their owners have small genitals....a dog with a long tail wagging is truly happy.... is just typical of americans to get cosmetic surgery done to EVERYTHING...its in their constitution to be retarded

  • @R0CK0N1 It took the great Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann 7 different breeds to create the modern Dobermann. Since it was CREATED- there is NO NATURAL DOBERMANN LOOK- Herr Dobermann had the MODERN CROPPED and DOCKED Dobie as the look and perfection he was seeking. It's obvious that you have never owned one; and just spew the left-leaning, tree hugging, word-for-word peta-handbook shite. Who is surprised that another Euro lpinko would leave point of view???

  • Oh no! A brown weimeraner.

  • @gsdsteve Well, if u really had respect for the breed u would keep the breed the way it was intended to look by Herr Dobermann who bred this dog for a very specific purpose. If not, then get a hound dog!

  • @gsdsteve AWESOME COMMENT MATE- THUMBS UP

Google American Black and Tan Coonhoundl They do exist; unlike the false ramblings of some comments here.

  • Hallo! Ein sehr wachsamer Dobermann! ;-)

    LG Andy

  • Beautiful and great video, I have one like that.

  • grt dog... wonderful expressions...

  • zulu is a cute name for a dog great <3

  • with or without tail or cropped ears ,the greatest looking and companion, you could ask for in a animal.

  • 0:55 HOOO ....... hahahhahahaha its so funny

  • Dobie without cropped ear i bet you catch a lot of crap from other dog owners who say he would look dope if you cropped em

  • nice to see a natural doberman without ears cropped, beautiful :)

  • interesting how he is using the dog to keep the laidies in check but a un ruly dog of that size can be a searious leagle problem when it bites

  • In Europe docking tails and cropping years were prohibited years ago. You americans think that dog is like a car which you can tune however you like. It is not. Would you like someone to chop your ass only because it is too big and does not look nice?

  • @EclipseTurboGST

Docking tails and cropping ears was started in Europe and was carried on in the U.S.

Now people are regressing and turning back to natural born existence. Sooo! It was your fault that we started doing this you bloody Europeans.

  • @rumzi98 Slavery was also started in Europe, it does not mean you have to follow all bad European patters :)

  • @rumzi98 You ARE American-European, don't forget that. But yes, it was started as you say. Thankfully it has been outlawed here for the most part.

  • Another poor example of HOUNDER-man......

  • Very pretty Dobby! My last doberman's name was Zulu too.... now I one named Tamu :)

  • Breautiful dog!! Whoa

  • we didnt crop our dobermans tail and now her tail is super curly its cute :D

  • @therasppberry really? thats awesome :) I heard they got some powerfull tails when they wag , lol. The good thing is though...you can tell how happy dobies actually are, which seems like ALL the time ,lol. Which is a very positive thing for the breed

  • @therasppberry

If it were up to me, I wouldn't have docked his tail, but this is how I got him. That's why I didn't crop his ears. I prefer ALL NATURAL animals.

  • @rumzi98

zulu is a cute name for a dog and i like the ears very sweet ^^

  • @rumzi98 Very glad to hear that. They get their tails docked very young, you don't have the choice. But it affects communication, agility and is painful, so I'm glad that this practice is illegal where I live. The ear is another no no. It opens it up to the environment and you have many issues that you will deal with in every case. Your dog is gorgeous as is with his ears uncropped

  • @Blitzbok So misinformed. Dobermans who haven't been docked suffer immensely when their tails get broken. They are cropped and docked for a reason! Certainly less painful than spaying and neutering.

  • @gsdsteve IF they get broken, but even then, they CAN heal. A dobie that is docked will NEVER have optimum performance in agility, fact. The negatives completely outway the benefits. And the only benefit to either is that crop can achieve a slight advantage to hearing. It's being outlawed throughout the world for a reason, but the backward fools who have no real respect for the breed will always conjure up the most ludicrous excuses to negate the dog. Allways it boils down to shallow aesthetics.

  • @rumzi98 There is nothing "natural" about a Doberman. Floppy ears are the result of artificial selection by breeders over many generations. In the wild, only puppies have floppy ears to make nursing easier, so a more natural adult dog appearance would actually include cropped ears. It's fine if you like the uncropped look better, but don't emphasize your uninformed opinion as if it's somehow more virtuous, because Doberman tails can break easily if left undocked due to their thinness

  • @therasppberry our bitch is all natural too. The tail looks so funny and cute! Like handle! XD

  • love the natural ears on that dog,

    what a great dog

  • @mbenzsl2000 they look weird with floppy ear have u seen how sharpe they look in the movies in all the movies nice proper ear tail dock as well

  • @zafeamoon lol, ya whats your point? If you have a doberman that will be relegated to guard duty/rescue/police work...then ya a docked tail AND cropped ears are absolutely necessary.

But if its going to be a family dog...I really dont see the point of getting the cropped ears. To each his own, but if your THAT interested in aesthetics...well...whatever

  • @zafeamoon as for a docked tail, usually breeders will end up docking when the dobie is really young, before adoption, so most of the time, no choice there. But a full grown doberman tail can do some damage (and get damaged) so I can understand why it should be docked.

  • I don't know why shows don't like those sort of ears. I think they're lovely!

And you have a really handsome Dobermann there! =D

  • @ShadowClone1989 they look weird with floppy ear have u seen how sharpe they look in the movies in all the movies nice proper ear tail dock as well but i will say the ears floppy is not ideal but id take it but with a dodge curled tail no way looks a mess

  • @zafeamoon if that's your opinion, then good for you.

I own a totally natural Dobermann and prefer the look. Also I don't agree with the way the tails are mostly docked(witha rubberband so that it rotts and falls off on tiny puppies) And I've often enough seen a pair of really badly cropped ears (either they droop at the top or they were cut wonky).

The only time it makes sense to me, is when you're gona use the dog for police work because the then criminal has nothing to hold on to when down.

  • @ShadowClone1989 a doberman with a curled tail and flop ears has is no good as a guard dog to have a perfect doberman guard dog u need to dock the ears it makes them more intimdating and gives them or presents and docking tail is to stop people from grabbing it i don believe in using dogs as guard cuase if they bite a frend it bad cuase they got diese ion their teeeth which can kill u . also doberman with curled tails and floppy ear have guard dog value just can be pets and tail can get bit

  • @zafeamoon

    What?

  • @zafeamoon

Zulu is my BOY! He's not a guard dog. Nor is he a killer. He's my boy. I take him with me EVERYWHERE. To work, to the grocery store, to the park. No matter where we are, people are always praising him and are impressed at his temperament and attitude. He keeps his distance from people that are afraid of dogs (I don't know how he senses that) and he comes up to dog lovers and leans against them as the pet him. He is an amazing animal. He should be a therapy dog.

  • @ShadowClone1989

    Halleluiah

  • Oh he's so smart and sweet! I just adopted/rescued a doberman myself he's 13 weeks.

  • nice dog its nice to see him ears not cut

  • @paul32596 they look weird with floppy ear have u seen how sharpe they look in the movies in all the movies nice proper ear tail dock as well but i will say the ears floppy is not ideal but id take it but with a dodge curled tail no way looks a mess

  • What a beautiful dog. Nice to see a dobie with proper ears for a change. I hate to see them needlessly cropped.

  • zulu is a cutie.

  • DO EAR JOB!

  • It's funny i just finished watching " The Doberman Gang part (1972) "

  • are these dogs dangerous?

  • @ThePps2000 nope. they are essentially 80 lb lap dogs. Most dobies I know are all bark and then they will lick you to death

  • @ThePps2000 only if u break into their territory or try to hurt their owners other than that their sweet, loyal, smart and amazing dogs :)

  • @ThePps2000 no
