The two of them had the most incredible chemistry, I absolutely adore the way they acted together. Most comedy duos seem to have some badass bromance going on (Trey Parker and Matt Stone for instance) but Dean and Jerry seemed a lot more comfortable with each other than any other pairs I've seen (which as a thirteen year old means I haven't seen THAT many comic pairs but, hey, whatever).

I also love the way Jerry kept lapsing into his 'comic voice' while singing and Dean kept correcting him.

I know he's obviously doing it for comedy value but I do wonder whether he intentionally pulls out his crazy voices for those odd words during the song because he's still a little insecure about using his 'real' persona in public. I mean, during this time people only knew him as the high-pitched crazy guy.

omg i love jerry's natural singing voice its so friggin pretty but i love how he adds in his funny voice and i love it at 1:02 when he says "oh for heavens sakes" and then at 1:08 - 1:10 when he starts singing about christmas haha!!!

Lewis plainly imitates Martin's singing style in this clip and the results are not good but if you want to see a truly bravura delivery of a song by Lewis, take a look at his mighty rendition of "Birth of the Blues" atop a camera crane platform on his 1963 variety show series catastrophe. If I've watched it once, I've seen it twenty times.

They were the best together, I didn't like either one on their own. Dean always got the short end of the stick, but they loved each other immensly for 10 years. It's great to be able to watch over, and over when TV was entertaining. This folks is entertainment....to bad there aren't more 25 year old Jerry Lewis'....very, very sexy man....I LOVE YOU Jerry!!!

jerry has a good voice. But Dean's voice is dreamy and amazing. Dean had an amazing career, until his oldest son passed away. Dean wasnt a drinker either. not until his son died. On the Colgate Comedy Hour, they had Dean "play" or "act" like he was drunk. none the less. Dean Martin was one of the MOST unique && most gifted singer/comdedians i've ever watched

dean gets payback. jerry has a straight record out called Jerry just sings. it's available on cd from amazon. all those people inside of him are trying to get out as he sings... it had to be hard for him to keep them under control
