Roxas has a Piece of a Heart. Ventus's Heart, Which was broken after *spoiler* he destroyed the "Kye"Blade, with Ventus's Darkness-Vanitas. The Broken piece of his Heart was accepted into Sora, Giving Sora the ability to Wield the Keyblade. When Sora Became A Heartless in Kingdom Hearts 1, the piece of Ventus's Heart that was lost within Sora was released, and it attached itself to Sora's nobody, Roxas, Giving Roxas The Altered Appearance, rather than having Roxas look more Like Sora. But here is something you should know, if they do that for the PS3, you can still play it on your PS3. The PS3 is region-free. Just buy the Japanese version, and you will be able to play it just fine.

still I like Kingdom Hearts 1 more than part 2, simply because of the system of the game. Part 2 for sure has a better story and so, but it was way to simple in the first place and the story wasn´t good telled at all. It was just simplefied for a younger audience. Square Enix really does a good job with the story but they failed with the quality.

Kingdom Hearts is pretty good for storyline and for RPG purposes, but I think they REALLY overused and misused the Reaction Commands and Limit Commands. Now it's just "PressX, PressX, PressX TRIANGLE!" and repeat. The first one required that you knew how to dodge. Apart from that, Kingdom Hearts will always be number one on my list.

Well yah, I thought they look good too. But they oversimplified the game. There were battles where I just spent the time rapidly alternating between X and Triangle.

I think that they should implement in order to fix the combat:

-a context sensitive button system (like in beyond good and evil) and

-use the square and X buttons for attacking

-the ability to perform actual combos

-and improve the use of magic

I found magic to only be useful when in a drive form. It's easier to pull magic combos off in Final and Master form and Wisdom form was just a start.

oh really, why do i suck? for telling the truth, i mean, look at roxas and ven, they are practically identical. i couldn't tell which was which when i first saw birth by sleep, they also recycle that silver haired bad guy scenario, for example, xeanorts heartless, xemnas, kuja, sephiroth, feel free to add any more in if i missed any. in some parts it sounds a bit like the "cavern of rememberance" theme. and i dont hate square enix, i just hate the face they recycle most of their ideas.

Actually, Ven may be more connected to Sora himself. My theory (yeah, I know it's dumb) is that he might be Sora's dad, so maybe Sora's ability to wield a Keyblade is also a genetic trait. Please don't insult me on this; it was all I could come up with.

Here's my theory, if it helps any: Ven was the Keyblade wielder IMMEDIATELY before Sora, correct? So I thought that Roxas looked like Ven because maybe there is something that if the Keyblade wielder became a Heartless, like Sora did, the Nobody would be in the image of the previous Keyblade wielder, which would explain, if it turns out to be true, why Roxas and Ven are identical, and Roxas looks nothing like Sora. Just a thought.

That makes sense, but I think that Roxas looks plenty like Sora; the eyes, the nose, the skin and hair color (Sora hair color is now light brown or dirty blonde in Kingdom Hearts II).

In any event, we'll just have to wait for Birth by Sleep to come out here to see just how they're related if they are at all.
