i bought this from dan and dave dot com and its a very nice and clever move, however, the teaching is pretty bad. he just gives you the move and every show was taken only from his view. he doesnt show his move from spectator's view even in the teaching video.
This is the best card control in the world. Not only has it completely heightened my ambitious card routine, but it has completely replaced my pass. Thank you so much for sharing something of such genious. (for it bucks its a steal, and i. horrible at the pass
Yo chris, a few questions. Im a fan of card controls such as this. But the pass jsut isnt working for me, even after 2 months of straight practice it is still completely visible. How difficult is the move, and will small hands be a deciding factor? Im buying this either way so just wanted a trite product review
All right , I'm up loading a video I took with my phone of me doing the control, I fumbled during the first and main sleight but my camera girl refused to shoot again, so the whole control took few seconds longer than it would normally have lol, let me know if it looks right, and will message u what I do when I get to a computer
Chris, I think I finally figured it out, that being said, if u do it the way I think u do it, that's just insane u can do it that fast so clean, I tried out what I thought u were doing , in front of the mirror, and it was clean even on my first try, if what we are doing is different from one another, if so, I just made up a sweet control :) can I email u what I think it is, if I'm wrong just say so, but I want to know if its right so I don't claim credit for it
@Orbitbrown Hey, i messaged you on myspace, and you haven't read the message yet, as i realize you probably get a thousand message a day, please take the time to read mine, the name is justin bremer, now, on to commenting the video and the pass, expertly designed, and even better performed. You inspire me.
WHY DO YOU HAVE SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES IN YOUR VIDS, THATS 2 VIDS I FOUND WITH DAVID BLAINE RELATED WORDS, In this you have the words persist and endure aswell as The linfinity symbol flashing up twice, and at the end you had subscribe flash up, and in your interactive trick David Blaine Flashes up when you drew our attention away, reply and apart from thatt cool vid!
This is such an awesome Move, Are you selling it to Dan and Daves site? or is this just to show off... This looks such like an awesome tutorial and i think you could
why do u have to be so negative? just understand that u arent the smartest in the world you could expect some lame magician to use identicals but NOT Chris Brown (the magician not the singer :P)
I also have been playing with a similar idea. My inspiration came from Derren Brown's devils picture-book with the control the the bottom called Mike's move. I looked into a control to the top and essential came over several variations. The one MOST similar to it is the
-One Card Pass found on the classic magic of Ken Krenzel and also is in Control Freak by Oliver Macia.
That was the worst video for a sleight that I have ever seen.
If you want to demonstrate a sleight, just a sleight, do it a few times in a row instead of making a video filled with cheesy and unneccessary things. I barely made it through this video even though it's just one minute
I don't know what "leave it to a coin guy" is supposed to mean... anyway sorry for being so harsh, I was mad about something else and I kind of released my anger on this video. I still think that it's a bad video for a sleight though
Interesting control, but It's very similar to a technique used by Martin Nash ,Ed. Marlo and Arturo De Ascanio , This Technique was born In the first time of 900 , by T. Nelson Downs,Nate Leipzig and Arthur Buckley .....
wow. i thought you were controlling it to the bottom at first. never thought it would appear on top of the deck. nice control, you gonna publish this move?
huge fan of yours, just love the way you think about the tricks, the magic, the cards. To you it's not just about doing the trick, it's about feeling it.
the move is really well executed. It looks like a small variation on Ken Krenzels One Card Pass, though. It can be found in Harry Loraynes book "The Card Classics of Ken Krenzel".
The control is performed nice and smooth, though during the control, you may flash the card sliding up to the top of the deck from the spectators to your right.
Nice control, though isn't 100% angle proof. Would need more cover of your right hand
It has the same amount of flash as the clip shift. Plus, you don't do it when they're burning you. You do it on that split second just for reassurance. Oh and the control wasn't at speed. The control is done in a fast squaring up the pack motion. You can not see it. Trust me.
It is great, but the clip shift is done with the deck horizontal to the ground, allowing yourself to use your entire hand as cover, your control is done with the deck angled upwards, almost perpendicular to the ground, allowing less room for cover of the deck for the spectators to your right.
Though the control is great, it may not be visible at all. I like this one a lot more than your venus trap which was hard perfect it without flashing
The clip shift has a much smaller amount of flash due to the fact that it is performed horizontal to the ground, leaving you with the cover of your entire hand.
Your control is performed at an upward angle, almost perpendicular to the ground, giving your less cover of the 'casual hand' you didn't give it any cover, but the squaring motion was swift so it may be casual enough to go unnoticed.
Still a good control, much better than your venus trap, which was hard to perfect w/o flashing
The Clip Shift= Look here while the card changes and while I do the move.
Orbit Control= "Ok, so was your card red (shift) or black?" *eyes look up to remember their card*.
I've used this move in a bit over 500 events. Granted, you shouldn't do it when you set it up like "Ok everybody, watch my hands...BOOM. Did you see it?!" Its an invisible move, it happens on the off beat after a question or eye contact with people, or at a laughing moment when all guards are down. Crowd management.
The playing in reverse of the pressure fan tripped me out lol I was like 'How did he do a one handed fan like that?!'

The control is performed nice and smooth, though during the control, you may flash the card sliding up to the top of the deck from the spectators to your right.
Nice control, though isn't 100% angle proof. Would need more cover of your right hand
srsbznsdude 2 years ago
It has the same amount of flash as the clip shift. Plus, you don't do it when they're burning you. You do it on that split second just for reassurance. Oh and the control wasn't at speed. The control is done in a fast squaring up the pack motion. You can not see it. Trust me.
Orbitbrown 2 years ago
It is great, but the clip shift is done with the deck horizontal to the ground, allowing yourself to use your entire hand as cover, your control is done with the deck angled upwards, almost perpendicular to the ground, allowing less room for cover of the deck for the spectators to your right.
Though the control is great, it may not be visible at all. I like this one a lot more than your venus trap which was hard perfect it without flashing
srsbznsdude 2 years ago
The clip shift has a much smaller amount of flash due to the fact that it is performed horizontal to the ground, leaving you with the cover of your entire hand.
Your control is performed at an upward angle, almost perpendicular to the ground, giving your less cover of the 'casual hand' you didn't give it any cover, but the squaring motion was swift so it may be casual enough to go unnoticed.
Still a good control, much better than your venus trap, which was hard to perfect w/o flashing
