@JC545X39 I would if i knew it. You can figure it our for each gun/cal. by aiming center mass and noting where your rounds are hitting in relation to your point of aim. Good luck!
great video. new to shooting, took a class covering basic safety and operation but light on marksmanship. DPMS A15 carbine. SO: Dial RS all the way down then back out until 'z' aligned. adjust elevation with front sight. Zero gun. If shooting 300, 400, 500, or 600 dial rear sight to z, 4, 5, 6/3. Not buying an optic till good with Iron. btw, my right wing of front side wider than left, any reason for this? any comments appreciated.
@sumguy68 That is a good game plan to master the iron sights, u will be a better marksman for it. Just to verify what u said, sight in on Z at 25 yards. From here turn the sight to 3(first time) and if you have a range that goes out to 300yrds confirm and make micro adjustments. keep sights at 3 for 25/300 point of aim point of impact. Then if you go to 4, 5, and hit 3/6(second time) that is for 600yrds. Hope this helped! good luck!
@Dionscott55 Its a 100-600yrd pop up sight that also adjusts for windage. This sight is designed as a back up to your scope/red dot style sights and I would not recomend it as your primary. With that it is an awesome back up!
The most informative, basic break down yet, how friggin hard was that YouTube. This man got it done, one man, one marker, on rifle. You rock thanks bro
In addition to this recording, if you sight in your gun for 50yd point of aim/point of impact, it will only have a max height of 4inches and return to point of aim point of impact again about 200yards.
Keep up the good work. sharing knowledge with brothers that are law enforcement, but have not been trained on how to use holds. This is crucial since during combat you will not have the time to be adjusting your elevation knob.
great vid clear and concise

Wow. Really nice video. I would almost pay money to see the same video adapted for the 5.45X39 caliber. (I loves me some cheap surplus)
