WASD in most games just MOVES the unit, typically, gun rotation, elevation and sight movement would be mouse, speed would be A,Z, and switching weapons would be Q and E.

And shooting would be left mouse button.

then you cant play this game much. You need to make minute changes to gun elevation and rotation whilst you AND the target are moving. And yes, there is a mouse click FCS, but it's for noobs, has a terrible accuracy revision, and is no fun at all. If you want to stick with some no-brainer WASD + mouse control, go play CS or something. Navyfield is a game that requires skill and most importantly, thought.

@15347992 if you say mmo you know its going to take a very long time to level. But it also depends on if you get really good at it.. for instance manuel aim is more accurate.. and doing damage earns points, which earns exp etc. so I guess it depends on your skill.

what did it look like? was the dock just empty or was there a big grey shadow of your ship?

are you sure your quitted out of the game correctly last time you went on?

and the crew member can be fixed but might take a while, go back to neutral shipyard and buy a ship there, start training your sailors again.

I'm form the Netherlands. I had the same problem after I installed it on my laptop. But I solved it by deleting the asian language packs for the keyboard in the bottom right corner. I dont know if you can choose any other languages to have a different keyboard. Just select English.

In germany you have for example QWERTZ and english QWERTY

First tab, in the two scroll down menus select English (USA) or English (Canada) depends on where you from.

Second tab, click on "Details". Under Ïnstalled Services" (something like that).

You could always try to change one of these settings and see if it works. Of not you can change it back.

Maybe you dont have to delete those language packs and only have to change the location to Canada. So you will keep your korean language keyboard settings.

My dad installed the Chinese keyboard on the laptop so he could write the chinese characters to his friends in china if he took my laptop but he never does, so I just threw that away. But he still can see the chinese chars.

I deleted all other languages except English (USA) with keyboard English (USA, International).

Then under "Standard bla bla", select English (USA) - English (USA, International)

If you deleted the other things, click on Apply, if it gives a warning with cant be deleted bla bla, just delete them again and click on apply again (they can be deleted). Click OK and try to start NavyField.

Mine worked after I did this, hope it also works for you ;)

If I am right then you get 40% less experience, but it is still playable. I played the game with no subscription for a year. I leveled slow, but I got to know the angles pretty good and got used to the ships. You can level more BO's of different nations and then choose which you like best.

Best time is Blitzkrieg (level 1-60), but I am only level 70 and have 3 bo's leveled to level 70. Now I am getting to play a bigger role in GB :D

Lol, couldnt remember of having ever posted this....

But at level 61 you wont be able to get in Blitzkrieg rooms anymore, since it is capped to level 60. You can join all other rooms (if the host hasnt set the max level lower, keep your mouse on the room in the battle channel then you can see more info about the room).

If I were you, I would join blitzkrieg rooms at your level, unless you are Japan and are torping then go Great Battle to torp the BB.

Navyfield has so many bugs. Also at high levels premium is a must and especially if you have aircraft carriers people who pay like 100 bucks can get uber sailors that your ship. Its stupid. Also if you use Vista the game crashes every 4 rounds approx. I have a Kaga Class CV and a North Carolina Class BB so i know what its like. ITs not a bad game, its just mods ban you for saying "fuck" once. You crash if you have vista and paying players have insane advangtages.
