@bassplayermichael i feel u man. we was told that by some people after making the song, and well, as true as that is, 3 other bands also have a kinda similar riff. I have no idea why, but there's not much we can about it. Luckily no other bands use it as a theme, like we do, and none of them are exactly alike :)

We've recorded lots of metal songs, but we can't get the sound right with the gear we have now. We're going to record in a proffesional studio starting monday. The sound we're looking for is like such bands as helloween, gamma ray, blind guardian. basically very melodic powermetal with heavy riffs.

we're recording in one of the best studios in this area, and they will supply us with all the instruments we will need. We haven't looked at all of it yet. In our song "You are not my priority" I play on a Jackson v-guitar, and that's the best guitar we have. As you can hear the sound is terrible, which is why we need to record real metal in a real studio. Why you wondering btw? :)

Because I appreciate a good tone and I hang around enough musicians to learn what some of them are. Co-incedentally, my cousin Alexander recently did a number of upgrades on a low-end jackson v. I think it was the X10 I'm not entirely sure, just that it was a purple-green swirl body. I'll ask them(him or his brother) when they get on.

They should be able to help you find a good tone.

In the meantime I'll be looking at the gear of blind guardian and some other well-toned bands
