  • which is that software,may i know?

  • amazing work Pete !! ...dont worry abt a few comments abt plagiarism ...its usual ...some guys r just cynical - can never appreciate ...so keep up the good work .....I hope you work on more Indian movies !!!

  • great work sir !

  • Looks really really promising... and they are using 3ds max 2009? right? Actually my fav..

  • @MsRajnikanth eh??

  • @petedraper he must hav meant the movie called 300

  • @REBECAPUNNOSE yeah I worked that one out but I couldn't work out if he was just complimenting the work or also accusing us of plagiarism...!

  • GR8 WORK MAN

  • cheers :) .... you know what? It's been about a year since I started working on that feature and I still haven't seen it! I should be coming back to AP (Hyd) at the end of March / start of April so, if it's come out on BluRay or DVD, I'll be able to buy a copy (unless they are still showing it somewhere, which I highly doubt).

  • our toolywood is great.........

  • i like the visual effects they are really nice

  • wow that was great i will try it once and i will post if u have the time judge my work too

  • hi pete nice to see ur reply . i liked ur crowd Choreography it was awesome . did u use any plugins to control the particle system? u used PF source . any plugins u used especially for crowd simulation?

  • no, it was an "out of the box" system I designed so that it could be easily amended as I had very little time to set up the shots so needed the ability to be customised on the fly. It was a simple case of understanding basic crowd rules, like birds flocking - find the flock, find the closest person, stay away from the closest person, if a predator / terrain comes within view then get out of the way. Adhere to these rules and the flock will behave with some "intelligence" :)

  • every work was excellent but entire thing is depended on match move u r great ur work was awesome buddy . I saw ur VFX show reel it created greate impact on me and chained my mind to meet international standards . before that i used to just think to satisfy local people with my work but i was inspired with ur works. defenatly i try to maintain standard in my work with ur inspiration .

  • hi pete my self iam aslo an VFX artist in telugu movies . UR work is amazing . Iam also 3dsmax , maya and Fusion user. i was amazed how u maintained mesh in 3dsmax and i liked the

PFlow birds at the top the palace. and the texturing work is aslo excellent .

DID u participated in 3d tracking and match moving?

  • Cheers - the main modelling & texturing of the stadium & city environments were handled by Adel Adili; my main role was to ensure that this was correctly integrated into the live action by establishing relevant pipelines for the rendering and matchmove. I also acted as quality control for the matchmove team at EFX to ensure that there were no slips, after which EFX handled it internally after I left India once my initial visit was finished in April.
