But they have a really nice sound clean. I personally love ESP, but Fender isn't bad at all. But for Metal, I'd rather play a tree with pubic hair strings, because Fenders are HORRIBLE for metal.

Fender is great for metal, do you forget that Iron Maiden use them or Malmsteen and many other.

It's not the fucking guitar but the player and of course the setup quality like the amp or the pups.

Lol get your facts straight. Iron Maiden use a modified Fender with humbuckers. And Malmsteen doesn't play metal... He plays Neo Classical.

well if u get a HSS and i forgot which one but one of them comes with a seymour duncan pearly gates :P so it could be for metal. and on the FWTBT live video kirk is using a strat and ther is vids of him using one in the studio :P but it mainly depends on the pick ups. after those are wut gives the sound.....
