Pretty sure that is Scott, and neither he nor Brandon was singing that octave down. That's all undertone. That tag is one of my favorites because it lends itself to producing a huge undertone and overtone on that last note. Love it.
Tim was a lecturer there, and Brandon was supposed to be, but due to some circumstances he had to cancel his lecturing and drop in later. Max Q however, were invited as a performance quartet. I don't know what or how much they got for it...
Yeah but its not like 50 dollars each, right? I hope that they are well compensated for there talents. Unlike most overpaid artists'.
Ive been in the music business for 13 years, recording/performing/teaching. It would make me feel better if I knew that these great singers were paid well. Not sure why...but I would feel better if these gentlemen were millionaires other than the usual "you know who's".
You're absolutely right. Its them who deserve to be on top of the world, because this is musical truth. Mainstream music hides the true nature of it, and the so called "artists" are revered and coveted by millions, but why? Their music is child's play when compared to this.
Thanks for the kind words!! Teaching and performing at Harmony University is a voluntary thing. It's a labor of love for the 'barbershop style.' None of us were paid, but we had our expenses paid.. except for Brandon, who was there as a student, and paid to attend for the weekend. It was a blast singing with those guys and everyone else at Harmony University! I highly recommend attending! -Tim
No each PAYs to go to St. Joseph, Missouri and practice Barbershop skills, BUT It is SING all day long, except for ICE CREAM breaks. they got 30 kinds of Ice Cream all day available to 2 Am and Open again after breakfast. Best time I ever had., singing.

Anyone else see Rich Knight sneak by in the right side of the screen near the end there?
Hemicudap 3 years ago
I think that was Scott Kitzmiller actually, and I think he was the one singing the octave down.

You mean that wasn't Brandon singing the octave down? I just thought it looked like Rich, my mistake.
