  • Mach driver was terrible. My old Mach went 12.9 at 110mph with 4.10s and an ORX pipe.

  • I walk Z's in my bolt on 07 and I know id get pulled by a bolt on mach come on driver

  • a 350z is slow... 370's stepped up

  • @UnreadChapter i have a 350 with an intake a plenum and an injen exhaust and pulled a 370 by a car length so i wouldnt say its slow considering thats only about 35 hp gain however my car is 15k less

  • Kodarocks- is it 428hp or 450? I don't doubt you have it but I'm confused on your claims of rwhp? I'll check out your vidoes.

  • was that race near the high 5???

  • damn still lost to a slow garbage 350z

  • I HATE when people talk about stats and weight and bla bla bla about both cars, okkk, nobody cares is you can look up their stats nd shit, all u saw in the video was a car win and a car lose, just talk shit about the cars racing, not the car in general....

  • You got smoked

  • +1 for 350z drivers! lol

  • 32v 4.6 POWA!!!!! lol

  • ya I have a bone stock 1996 cobra that out runs my son's 2006 350z all day. no waaay your 350z out ran a mach with bolt on's. sorry just wouldnt happen with a good driver.

  • what vehicle is the person recording in to keep with the mustang and z for that long?

  • the old modular motors stunk big time. Thankfully Ford finally ditched that engine series and went to the new coyote motors at come in the new mustangs (and probably other models by now). 4.6 liter = big giant paper weight. Superchargers are "required" for those engines to be anything close to fast for a V8. They sucked.

  • @mine1username They were made originally for fuel economy in 1996 when they got rid of the 5.0 and they have their potential same as anything, its a small V8 and also ford still has modular engines, modular in their terms means OHC which the new coyote engines are

  • @Chadb89 Agreed. yes the Coyote is a modular motor, but it doesn't have a whole lot in common with the older 4.6 and 5.4. The heads are are the biggest improvement over the older models. This speaks for higher output per cubic inch, for the Coyote. I'd never buy a 4.6 liter again. It's a waste of money to me. 5.0 doesn't need boost to be over 400 horsepower. The 4.6 does, and quite a bit for that matter. It's all good though. If you like the 4.6, then you buy it. That's my opinion anyways.

  • @mine1username I agree the new coyote is a great engine but the main reason Ford underated the 4.6 is emissions...were talking not even half a liter of displacment here you dont get an extra 100hp from .4 liter increase, they took the 4.6 engine bored it to 5.0 and in heads cams intake timing and VVTi technology got another 100hp, you can do the same with a 4.6 just not factory, the only way the new coyote avoids the gas guzzle tax btw is a 2nd and 3rd gear shutout when the engine is under 2krpm

  • @Chadb89 coyote motor is nasty but anyone who is serious about power locks the VVTi out off gate or at least limits it the power comes from a high compression ratio and the only reason there able to have a high compression ratio 11:1 is because it now comes with wide band O2's keeps knock down under 4% which is crazy considering your average car off the lot does twice that with a compression ratio of 8.5-9.5,higher in imports

  • @e303gt that is crazy i didnt know about the wideband O2s thats awesome, they are badass engines for sure..but why would you lock out the VVTi?? i dont have any experience with it either as a mechanic or enthusiast..

  • @Chadb89 VVTi uses coils to advance or retard the cams themselves which means if the coil that hold it in a certain spot at a certain time fails during operation catastrophic failure is likely also when you change to cams with a higher lift if you advance the same amount as a cam with the original lift then you would crash valve to piston but when it all comes down to it a few bolts are more dependable at high hp than a coil that is likely to slip

  • if you watch the video you notice the mach catching up and i bet would have pssed if she didnt have to slow down for the car infront of her, not saying the 350 not a good car, but the mach would beat it down. a closer race would be a gt and the 350

  • mach driver is a girl.. keep in mind that muscle cars always beats imports.. fuck what anyone says ha

  • nice cars those guys love both styles of cars

  • 306 but neither one of them would touch my supercharged keene bell gt running 450 hp

  • used to have an 04 r32 with a canned tune and bolt ons. Beat my buddies 350z in that every time hands down. Now I have a mach, completely stock, and it would blow the doors off my old r32. Looks like that mach needs a serious driver mod.

  • wrong.....350s are rated at 287 hp...

  • nope they are rated at 306 hp dude

  • @Joneszf i think i should know...i have an 03 its rated at 287 hp and 274 on the tq....google it !!!

  • @MrDaylow i have a 03 gt and its rated at 287 at the fly, only puts about 230-40ish to the ground.

  • If thats a Mach 1 shit i have a Gt

  • Shady !!!!! how'd that barrier look comin at ya ?? lol

  • I had an 03 Mach with a stick, stock with the exception of a K&N FIPK and I smoked stock and worked 350Z all fucking day...the Mach driver sucked!

  • how does the mach 1 driver suck? they came with a 305hp engine, the z with a 332hp engine. they weigh about the same. the mach 1 did extremely well, your all just a bunch of depressed ford fan boys that can't take a loss

  • @tpersing88 no, actually you are a fucking dumbshit. machs came with 320hp it was underrated at 305, plus 320 tq. a simple midpipe swap and a few minor boltons saw 350+BHP easily. z's came with 304hp until the 370z which is 332 go read a fucking magazine before you come talking like you know things, mach driver did suck, a decent driver would obliterate that z gtfo fanboy

  • @Storm7289 dude i agree with you 100%, both cars sound good though

they did the same thing with cobra ive seen them do 350-370rwhp

  • @Cowboy2792 z's are cool for sure but its really no contest. as i mentioned earlier a mach can hit 400bhp with full boltons pretty easily. z's are fun twisty cars though

  • The roads looks a bit busy...

  • houston tx in katy

  • mach 1 driver sucks

  • 99-04 gts stock run a13.8-14.2 now the 05-10 run from 13.2-13.6 stock. Obviously the Mach 1 is closer to a 13. But that's on a track that's prepped so this means Nothjng really. I didn't hear any one revving at all, looked like they just rolled then gassed it?

  • its 2.90 in okc

  • I think we all know that shouldnt have happened.

  • ha ha at 0:10 you can see the dude looking at the Z like.. "oh shit"

  • Looks like Houston Texas area :O

  • That was embarrassing for that Mustang.

  • Yeah i live near there.

  • I know where this road is!

  • @xxxXW4NT3DXxxx Katy TX

  • Z! 👍

  • is this texas?

  • That Mach 1 should have kicked at Z's ass. That driver needs to hand over his keys to me next time.

  • i used to own a 2002 GT automatic it had a K&N FIPK magnaflow catback and it was dyno tuned with and SCT tuner made 256 hp to the tires and i had a best time of 13.88 out of 12 runs in woodburn oregon elevation about 350 feet above sea level, not the fastest car on earth i know but it was fun to drive and i got into the 13's with only a couple bolt ons and was running on cheap shitty tires

  • This isn't even a mach 1. Looks like a flat billed youngster trying to drive a GT

  • gt vs 350z = drivers race.. mach1 vs. 350z= import ass whoopin ( if u can drive)

  • thats on hwy6?:D

  • May be driver error on the Mach. Ive raced a 05 350z and won unless they changed the motor between 05-08

  • y would they race there

  • @realmetaldrummer i was thinking the same thing lol

  • Houston.

  • nice little sprint. not bad though. I'm not bashing either i've owned a couple of each. mustangs and nissans, loved em all, especially my 08 NISMO i have now.

  • @LowKeyYingYang If it's silver then wtf, try either white or red for a nismo if you don't have one of the two.

  • @MrClutch1999 Umm if you're talking about the color of my Z, it actually is pikes peak white. I never mentioned having a "silver" one. Personally I only like the white and black ones. Red one is ok. Never liked the silver. Sooooo......??

  • @LowKeyYingYang Exactly, I have a friend who owns a black one and it's sick as fuck but it's the only one around here. The only flaw on the black is that you can't see the black trim on the bumpers and side skirts as well as you can on any other color, however that silver color is just gross. I like red or white. I've never seen a white one, but red is kind of rare too around here. I just think red stands out more than white, but I'd take either one.

  • @MrClutch1999 I have a 05 red z that I race. So far I have been keeping up with some fast cars. I have 3 surge chips, cai, and a stage 4 clutch.

  • @mikeandtricia350Z why would you be running a stage 4 clutch?! thats fucking insane in a street car... And without about 800 hp its kinda pointless...

  • @mikeandtricia350Z Actually if you know clutches depends on the brand of what hp rating it has. I have a f1 racing stage 4 clutch, it only holds alittle over 400 to the crank hp. so ya it works on my car.

  • @MrClutch1999 theres a vinyl package for the mach 1 which is red.... it looks sick on the black Mach 1s... im going to be replacing mine with red in the spring after a front end respray...

  • 350 all the way

  • tuners do not beat muscle cars in drag races unless the driver of the tuner is great and the driver of the muscle car sucks

  • @2012GT500Supersnake Actually also depends on the car and the mods. I have a z and beat a mustang gt with mods.

  • @mikeandtricia350Z tuners do not drag race!!!!!!!!!

  • @mikeandtricia350Z GT's are SLOW

  • @svbummin 13.9 for a 260hp car isnt that slow

  • @Storm7289 good luck getting a stock pusstang to run 13.9 - try more like mid 14's or worst. on the other hand slap D/R on a mach and your in the high 12's

  • Comment removed

  • @svbummin its been done many times before. mid 14's id feel sorry to be that driver

  • @Storm7289 many times my ass - on average new edge GT's are getting mid 14's. ive never seen a 99-04 GT break 13's without a bolt on or two, and im only a nut hair above sea level

  • @svbummin mags have got it at 14.1 and bettter i dont see why you are getting so defensive

  • @svbummin I have.

  • @svbummin new edge stangs with a good driver ans stick are 13 second cars i have seen it time and time again. friend went 13.80 with a stock sonic blue 04 gt 5speed then did heads, cams and other bolt ons and ran 12.30s on drag radials.

  • @svbummin believe it or not stock gts have hit high 13s stock

  • @svbummin I know lol. Ive seen some fast ones though.

  • Houston Tx Beltway&I-10

  • mach driver sucks

  • @Storm7289 Yeah man... A Mach would waste a 350Z.....

  • @Storm7289

he beat the camera car which was a 350z...

  • @yourmotherrules yea he got beat by the other 350.. a stock mach has 320hp and just as much torque and with boltons its up to about 350 usually. noway any 350 can hang unless its blown

  • @Storm7289 Yeah, minus driver error a stock Mach 1 should be able to take a stock 350z....

  • @Punisher7121 only a rev up engine model (304hp) would have a chance, i think those were 05 and up? and still thats a stretch.

  • El paso? lol

  • either or i know how mine corners, if i can hang with a wrx(stock before ya start telling me bs) im shure a 350z is np

  • lol 350's arent that fast on the track!

  • @tsl42 1/4 mile or a real race track?

  • mach 1 well last longer...

  • @smokedstang that's a great joke

  • @DcEvoIX it actually will if properly maintained, at the dealer i work at these 4.6 modulars come in with 300-400k miles on them still running strong

  • @Storm7289 well any car can last very long if properly maintained especially nissan's and toyota's, but that impressive, that's is like deisel mileage did they have any off the books rebuilds?

  • @DcEvoIX no but you see it the most in company owned cars, cops, taxis, shuttles, drivers etc sicne most people these days are retarted about maintaining their cars

  • @Storm7289 that's true I've seen people wait like 7k miles between oil changes, I do mine once every 1k miles or once a week, I would wait every 3k miles but my race car is my daily also

  • Damn... gas was $2.85

  • @dustinmcclelland15 425 in california

  • @dustinmcclelland15 Thats premium too, Regular was $2.50 something.

  • I know EXACTLY where that is, hahaha! I live 20 mins from there..

  • @seeroy1986 . I never checked the weight of both cars but that sucks. I'd just go for the Mach then

  • @MysticDMBherb Its probably the difference between them when on the mustang dydo and the other on the dynojet

  • stupid kids

  • @MysticDBMherb Thats not what I seen but ok

  • Comment removed

  • @sonic911 Yeah 15% is what it should be but then that would mean they should make around 258 ish whp cuz there rated at 303 hp

  • @steelcityracer1320 Yea each one is different.. I've heard of anywhere from 260all the way to 285, which is a very generous dyno

  • @MysticDMBherb So what yout saying is they only lose about 5% threw the drivetrain?

  • @steelcityracer1320 no they lose about 15%

  • @redsrider16 Sorry my mistake, didnt realize it said it was a 07 model. But still a pretty good race, even better for the mach now that you point that out considering the 350 is a 2 seater and the Mach is a 4 and weighs more

  • @steelcityracer1320 actully they weigh close to the same the z is only roughly 100 pounds lighter. They should have made them lighter and you think they would be really light with 2 seats but their pigs

  • Good race, both are nice but I'm suprised that 350Z ran that good. Close power comparison stock vs stock (350Z @ 287 and Mach 1 @ 303) The 350Z has less weight and the mach has more torque to make up for it but good run

  • @steelcityracer1320 350z HR = 306 horse and 268 ft. lbs. at the crank...curb weight approx. 3280

  • @steelcityracer1320 A stock Mach has around 285rwhp

  • Comment removed

  • @steelcityracer1320

    mach 1 is 305/320

  • @steelcityracer1320

    thats an 07 z with 306hp the 03,04,and auto 05 had 287hp. 05 manual and 06 had 300hp while 07 and 08 made 306hp.

  • i just got a 2011 mustangs just need know where do people hang out hit me up at face book William vallejo

  • hr z ftw

  • yea tha mach stock for stock will walk hr z's

  • @rahu8670 yes.. as seen in this video..lol

  • @ZeerXX haha tha z in tha right lane got a real good launch and won tha kill fair. I have seen 07/08 z's run mach's and stock for stock tha mach is victorious. hr's are nice as well so respect is due for great machines

  • @rahu8670 agreed. Im a big fan of both these cars. I don't know what the out come would be on average, i guess it's drivers race in the end.

  • @ZeerXX tha mach on average puts about 2 cars on an hr z. a good run for a mach 1 would be an ls1 camaro or trans am which are quicker than hr 350z's as well. that comparison is a drivers race.

  • @rahu8670 i guess the two extra cylinders gives it that extra torque it needs. Anyway, the Z is a track car. The mach 1 might pull 2 cars on it, but the Z will pull many cars on it on the track. Both bred for different purposes.

  • @ZeerXX i couldnt agree with u more on that one. like i said both are great cars and have loads of potential

  • yea 2007shelbycobra is right on this one. my friend has a 70 shot 350z and i still get a car or 2 on him. and i just have intake, gear, and exhaust.

  • hahaha, yea right... Nothing against a 350z here, but a STOCK Mach 1 will run with any year 350z, and from my experience, run with the new 370 too. If it was a "bolt on" Mach 1, it should have walked the 350 hard.

  • @2007ShelbyCobra I agree...it definately should have smoked it more than that. I had a 97 cobra that had a jlt cai, ud pullies, offroad hpipe, flowmasters and 4.10 gears and I raced a infinity g35 (basically the same thing as a 350z of course) and I walked it like a dog from 40-120 mph...4 to 5 lengths..probably closer to 5. and I also raced a 350z when my only mods were a dirty k&n, pullies, hpipe, flows and 3.55 gears (hadn't got the 4.10s or jlt yet) and I got it from a dig by about 3 cars

  • @2007ShelbyCobra and the was a light bolt on 97 cobra...if u wanna call it that...with a throttle body, intake spacer, long tubes and a tune it would have been much quicker but the machs are a tad quicker stock for stock over the 97 cobra and mod for mod. but don't underestimate the 96-98 cobras when well driven. they have 305 horsepower and 300 torque and if you have 4.10 or 4.30 gears and you know how to drive they can definately smoke lt1s, run w/ ls1s, smoke 4.6 s197s, etc...they're quick2

  • @midnight347 yea, for some reason I like the SN95 body style. Before I bought the Mach I was looking for a 95-98 Cobra, but the price was right on the Mach :)
