  • ahh nice he touched the balls several times lost the ball several times made fould many times ahh good player :D

  • well when the terrorists take him hostage, he will be beggin the usa special forces to rescue him cuz hes an american and we will say no way, have italy rescue you

  • Josh choke altidore aha he sucks

  • @Frantzu

Oh right, he's so proud over his "Italian" heritage, that during every offseason he comes straight back to NJ.

  • @Frantzu no shit dude, of course he would be one of USA's best, thats why were pissed, the dude just has no pride. lots of people have duel citizenship, but being born in america and growing up there through jr high/high school, thats pretty jacked man.

  • I dont get it... Pple are complaining that this guy isnt playing for a USA team. But If someone wants to be a pro football player why cant he ? we all know Europe Football is more productive than USA.

  • what happened to this altidore man now if he tries to do a one on one he'll lose it and fall down and start crying..

  • Altidore should of had two assist.

  • i hope villareal give jozy a chance this year. if he doesn't play well then he should leave. but atleast give the guy a chance.

  • Altidore needs some experience playing in Europe. In Europe, nobody gives you space and time, unlike in the MLS. The MLS is not a very good league. Its not because the players are bad, its just that the coaches SUCK. The MLS tactics are horrible. They try to play down the wings all the time even though almost no MLS player can cross well. In Europe, he will learn how to pass harder and more precise, and also time his shots better. I'm American so pls don't give me crap that MLS has good tactics

  • But is Bojan Krkic, Giovanni Dos Santos, Alexandre Pato, and Carlos Vela better than him??

    I think so

  • Why are you posting that on every Jozy Altidore video?

  • I'd say he's better than Vela

  • he looks a sharp player! what city need.

  • great player..he might leave villarreal to bigger club but i hope he will stay wit villarreal.. although he is now loan to velez.. it is for gain exp, coz atmosphere in la liga similar in clausura argentine..

  • where you think he could land if he left villareal?

  • maybe to bpl, everton wanna him last season,, or mu n chelsea..or in spain with r.madrid, he is young its long journey for his carear..

  • i agree. he is my fav US player. hella young and hella good, strong, fast, got moves etc. forget donovan

  • thanks. hadn't seen that. hope he gets some more time. Villareal is a great club, and i thought Yanks only played goalie for great clubs :-)

  • jozy altidore is juss briliant i mean hes juss briliant crossing around dose spanish players...we juss mite have a brian mcbribe again once hes fully developes... al countrys even tha best betta watch out cuz we have torres whos real good, adu, altidore, bradley shit even davies who has potential too damn

  • just might have a brian mcbride? this kid is going to leave mcbride's career in the dust.

  • lolz true cause dis kid is already close 2 mcbride at 19 we have a real good striker on our hands, good midfielders and good defenders so we r juss good rite now we have a bunch of talent

  • ahh jozy. hat trick in his first start (albeit a friendly against a crap team), a lot of good in this game to improve on.

all this = utter excitement for all US soccer fans. plus him and adu have a special connection on the pitch. im especially excited to see jose torres make his debut.

  • i also hope bradley caps torres in one of the upcoming qualifiers. he will be the perfect replacement for beasley on the left wing.

sadly for jozy, he wont see much playing time for the yellow submarine. apparently hes only allowed 4 appearances if he wants to stay eligible for loan in january. im still hoping he gets in though. jozy needs to play now, he is ready.

i still say he should have gone to the premiership, but in due time im sure he will end up there.

  • he's had 2 Caps for Villarreal, i think. I hope he get's at least 1 more with major time (more than 10 min)

  • hes there... HULL CITY CAUGHT HIM!

  • he did preatty good for his debut, its a shame he doesnt get more playing time

  • ALTIDORRRRRRRRRE

love it. santi should have finished that pass with a goal. jozy owns, its only a matter of time.

  • Rossi wont even get playing time for Italy. HE hasnt even broken into the first team. Jozy was smart. he could have played for Haiti but he chose to play for a team that would give him playing time but also got into the world cup.Rossi will play for a team that gets into the world cup BUT A: he wont get onto the roster B: If he did he'd never break into the first team. Jozy will definitely see a WC.

  • Jozy never had Haiti on his mind, are you fucking kidding me! Both Jozy & Rossi are from Jersey! 100% American! WTF???LOL You mean to tell me that Jozy wouldn't have had playing time in Haiti, so he decided he was going to play for the U.S team,.. his Home Team!LOL Rossi is a different story! Rossi's DaD had a lot to with his decision to play for Italy.

  • i just checked on villareal home page and he is int he first squad team, not in the B squad or youth team, so everybody who says hes not, r player haters, hes good ur not oh well deal with it

  • I love watching this kid play its like no matter who he plays against it always looks as if hes playin with kids, hes in a league of his own

  • lol thats funny

  • that spanish sounds weird.

  • lol i agree hes beastly an omg i cant wait till he score an tikitki1971 i am impressed not many people know about rossi giusseppe an in 3 year he will be better than that trader giusseppe!jozy is da man in la la liga

  • LOL Rossi the trader!!! You got that right, son! A kid who was born and raised in Jersey decides to be Italian at the end of the day! He's a CHUMP! American for life!:)

  • People from spain speak original spanish its more proper than what u hear people speak in the us

  • that is not spanish, is gallego. Seems spanish but its NOT.

Unfortunately that was the only match he played until now(and just 30min) I guess that he will be out on loan in january till next year.

  • its not spanish is gallego, seems spanish but its NOT.

Unfortunately for us, that is the only match he has played till now (and just 30min) in la liga. (he played some minutes also on friendlies) I guess that he will go out on loan in january till next year.

  • I guess Virrareal is glad, they kept him and not loaned him out. They said he was very impressive on exhibition games. My dream is for the USA to face Italy in the world cup and USA to eliminate them, so we all can say take that you sell out Giusseppe.

  • alright finnaly an american in La Liga doing great!

  • dam, altidore is fuckin beastly, he is gonna dominate la liga!

  • MANNNN the dude shoulda scored on that jozy pass....cant wait to see if he plays 2morrow in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE....man hes gotta be excited about right now

  • nah he wont he wasnt chosen for the squad, sux lol

  • will he make the sqaud at all this season for the CL?

  • no, the roster is pre set, he wantnt on the team when the roster call. its sucks cause I bet he would in the CL.

  • if he keeps this form up, i bet he plays when the yellow submarine makes it too to knockout rounds as a sub

  • that's alright. he probably wouldnt of had played. these CL games only increase the chance of him playing in the regular season because some players will be fatigued.

  • too bad, he cant play champions league he wasnt on the CL roster, its because there are other 4 attackers and they also need defenders and midfielders (they only allow 17 foreign players on roster). With 18 years ,coming from MLS and not yet adapted he cant play CL in his first weeks

  • wow he loos like he plays better than redbulls =]]

  • He is going to dominate la liga.

  • que jugador

  • Wow Jozy looked really good. I hope he gets more of a look, maybe a start or two in the coming weeks. LET'S GO JOZY AND VILLARREAL!

  • dude, you are my hero for posting this. Jozy is already a beast in La Liga, this kid is going to be electric.

  • Altidore is awesome, he could've scored on some of those easily. I hope Rossi stays benched, American traitor lol.

  • Yeah , your right. He only wanted to play for Italy because he always want to be on a winning team that wins all the time. Play for your home town. I'm brazilian American and I rather play for America (because I was born here) rather that brazil.

  • U are the kind of person that deserves to live in America...so many people don't support the land they live in or where they spend their lives, but you are the kind of person I want here.

  • "DESERVES to live?"

  • yes DESERVES to live in America...not live period...every person has the right to live their life but many people in this country don't deserve the freedoms and amenities that come with living here because they don't support their fellow Americans in their endeavors.

  • @shadowmwo Same here, where do you live in the Us?

  • right on! i hate rossi his whole family should move back to italy

  • Yeah, all bow to the Italian King!

  • awesome. he looked confident. still needs a tad bit of work in just shooting it on goal. I hope he gets more looks when Rossi and Nihat get back.

  • ahhh, he should have shot on that last play.

  • que grande altidore!!

  • BORN IS THE KING OF NEW YORK AND JERSEY!
