  • Polish chicken is better than swedish army ;p

  • The exchange of ideas and opinions should not be limited to those who meet your spelling and grammar requirements, and who made you the you tube spell-meister, Bro? Bro THIS....and grow some balls and quit correcting grammar so you can hear what people say. Nothing worse than you tube spelling monitors......

  • ....with some better spelling i could actually have seen some interest in your story, bro.

but alas, that was never to be.

  • Poor horses

  • Battle of Stegeborg 8 September 1598. In Sweden it is part of the War against Sigismund, of the Polish-Swedish Wars. 6000 Polish army defeated 18000 Swedish soldiers and captured Stockholm.

  • Polish troops captured Stockholm in 1598.

  • No dalej, poczujcie polskie szable na swojej dupie, szwedzkie skurwysyny! No jazdaaaaaa!!!

  • Patrzcie na 1:14 - hahahah, patrzcie jak Szwedzi spierdajaja ile sil w nogach, przed naszymi wojakami ;)

  • thanks

  • He said :I order to retreat. It was king of Swedden Carolus Gustavus

  • ...eh? in that case the moviedirector never studied how Gustavus Adolphus looked in real life, since that doesnt even remotely look like him at all.

  • its not Gustav II Adolf, Its Karl X..

  • now that explains it.

  • what did their commander say when he watched the chicken chase? funny that the soldiers spoke swedish and their commander muttered in polish...?

  • He said :I order to retreat. I translate You the Dialogue between Hieronim Radziejowski and feldmarschal Arvid Wittenberg as soon as possible

  • hahaha thats just pathetic!

Ur king even lead ur armies against Sweden and lost time after time, Ur Hussars were beaten.

  • symboliczna scena . Szwedzi bija sie o kurczaka ^^

  • To the Swedish members: what soldiers are saying on the begining of this clip?

  • They are saying,

    "look a Chicken!! Catch it!"

  • " Titta en höna!! "

  • haha FÅNGA DEN!

  • ANd the battle of Kircholm? hahaha, That Swedish army was low, Mostly Merceneries and an Army fighting battles the Medieval way.. It was when Gustav II Adolf Reformed our Army we got Great.

  • Every enemy army ended like those swedes in Poland during XV-XVII period of our hegemony in This partof Europe (of course if they took that risk, because mostly Poland attacked others on their territory).

  • Poland didnt fight wars in other Countrys, They allways protected their country against Others!

  • NO!!! You dont know our history so dont write wrong opinions!

  • you prolly didn't heard bout poles holding kremlin for 2 years, do you? Bout Kiev siezed by few polish kings? Bout Battle of Vienna? You didn't, so just get back to school, than we can discuss

  • Dziekuje za umieszczenie tu tego filmu. Milo obejrzec polskie dobre kino w niedzielne popoludnie w obcym kraju. Pozdrawiam

  • Titta en Höna! hahahaha ^^

  • hungry and weak swedes

  • Thats the way weak slavs have to beat us, Like the Russians in Poltava.. Burning their own Villages, Hide all Food.. Whats the only way for ur people to beat us :S

  • So this is the same way like germans did during 2nd ww retreating from eastern europe towards Belin- they burned bridges, villages. Swedes did the same retreating... Germans are weak and without honour...

  • all nations did that, not only swedes and germans, russian did it, poles did it, french did ti, it was a common strategy back then, deny the enemy supplies.

  • My Goodness j1010 (burning thei villages:) who has tought you a history? :)You can't distinguish between Wesern Slavs and Eatern ones. In Poland in those days there was a parliament, courts with judges. People to show homage (respect) they bowed before the king. In Russia the will of the czar was the low, people fell on thei faces before czar, like in Tukey. Poland was a part of western civilisation.

  • Western Slavs, Eastern Slaves who cares? In my point of view they were the same shit.. Easy targets to invade and Plunder. Just look at the History.

  • what you are talking about? easy targets? poland was in XVI/XVII ct one of the moast powerfull country in the EUROPE and russia was and is being still one of the moast powerfull countrys on the WORLD. you also was strong but slavs were stronger, military you were weaker, do you know kircholm? słowiańska siła skopie wasze germańskie dupy, wy skurwysyny!

  • Dont talk shit, the only thing Poland had which could be called the "best" in europe was ur Hussars, ur armies were otherwise very bad. Sweden had the best Infantery soldiers in the 17th Century.

""European infantry before the era of bayonet. The infantrymen were armed with long pikes and firearms. In the 1600s the Swedish infantry was considered as the best in the World. They were tall and strong men, disciplined, well-trained, and led by great generals.""

  • yes, your infantry was great but the beast cavalry was polish, our taktic was fighting with cavlry, before modern guns polish horsmens was very hard to be bitten, you can think what you want but when we had king Batory we were the moast powerfull in europe! and your beast king and leader, Gustaw II Adolf was bitten by our hetman Stanisław Koniecpolski ;)

  • Yes i know, But that was before the great reformation of our Armies, U can see the difference from our armies in the Polish Campaign and the 30 years war ^^

    But he did take livonia.

  • Gustav II Adolf won the war against Poland, We gained the baltic countrys from u.

And Gustav II Adolf was very succesfull in hes war against the Hussars.

  • Matter of opinion I guess. I agree that Sweden had a great infantry force and Poland didn't,but consider the size of the country and how spread out the enemies were. You can't effectivelly defend a country like that with infantry force. That is why Poland had a strong and varied cavalary and small easily moveable artillery. It was a natural evolution considering the situation. Military wise the field was even, what Sweden had in advatage was a more stable political situation. That did the trick.

  • yeaaaa...and we kicked swedish asses...so tell me-what;s your point mate?

  • U didnt kick Swedish asses as u describe it..

U were saved by ur rebellions, Ur armies where useless against the Swedish armies. Ur king had fleed the Country. Karl X could just grab the power in Poland and it would be hes.. But he wanted, he only wanted to plunder ur Country.. Which we did.

  • and that's all you could do...plunder...claim the throne? Are you mad?just check maps from 17th century ffs, you really think that you could conquer poland? Our king was in fact swede (maybe you didn't know that?), so i don't mind that he fleed...about the armies part...polish armies weren't useless, they just didn't exist ;) what swedes 'defeated' in few 'battles' was just so called 'Pospolite ruszenie' and those were just untrained and undisciplined polish nobles...mind kircholm ;) 3k vs 12k ;]

  • Swedish King? Are u mad? U had a Polish King during the Deluge, ANd he just like the rest of ur Kings were a Coward who never fought the battles next to hes soldiers like the Swedish kings,, Well.. The difference is probably that Sweden had a backround as Barbaric Vikings.. and it stilled lived on in our Warrior Kings.

And Kirscholm? Sweden had an backward army in that battle, with mainly Scotthis and German Mercants.

what about Battle of Chojnice (1656)?

  • ohhhh...sooo you didn't knew that in that time, we had 3 kings from Vasa dynasty in a row, didn't you? ;) well, google it pall...

    Kircholm-Swedish forces were:

-7 infantry batalions under Lenartson (this was swedish regiment mostly, low amount of mercs):3900 men,11 cannons

-6 squadrons of infantery and King's Guard under prince of Lunenburg (over 3k ppl,not many mercs)

-and also almost 3k of swedish raitars (dunno how to spell it,you know, swedish hheavy cavalry) under Mansweld,Brandt and

  • "ohhhh...sooo you didn't knew that in that time, we had 3 kings from Vasa dynasty in a row, didn't you? ;)"

Its not Swedens fault that the Polish History is one big chaotic mess ^^

  • your king Carl IX,in that number there was about 1,2k of German raitars, rest was your regular army,so you was wrong ;) polish numebrs was about 3,2k and 4 cannons,in that number there was like 1,9k of hussars, the rest was polish infantry and kurland raitars (about 300)

Chojnice:our queen, Ludwika Maria was escorted by marshall Czarniecki and by some cavalry and Hetmans, they were attacked by ariengard of swedish army under col Rutger von Aschenberg..after securing life of our queen, poles

  • Kid, The battle of Kircholm were mainly merceneries.. In the Swedish army. And that army we had there were backward as hell.. U can see the differences with the Army Gustav II Adolf later created and the armies we used in the beginning of 17th Century ^^

Then u got smashed pretty hard and nearly lost ur indepedence ;)

  • in 12k of swedes it was like 3-4 of mercs ;)

about the deluge:you don't know anything about polish situation, don't you?We was fighting russians at that time,it was time after Chmielnicki raising, poles hated Jan Kazimierz Vasa (poles never really accepted swedes as their kings),so in 1655-56 there wasn't any real battles, cozz Poland haven't any regular army at that time, polish king (I spit on his swedish face) was running, and yes,he was a coward, then your king won the battle of Wojnicze

  • the "Swedish" king as u write it, wasnt welcomed to Sweden either.. The Vasa kings in poland was the reason that we invaded u all the time, They claimed the swedish throne and were a threat.

  • yup, you're right in this,Vasa dynasty in our throne was biggest mistake in our history

  • Sweden did fight the Turks ^^

At the Chaos at Bender :P

24 Caroleans inside their fortification killed around 200 Turks who runned around like chickens outside and tried to figure out a way to come in ^^ But they managed and captured our Warrior king Karl XII who alone killed many Turks before they all jumped on him and forced him down, The Ottoman Sultan had ordered hes Soldiers not to hurt him.

  • agains "pospolite ruszenie" polish nobles without any military training...wow,what a victory...poles just didn't fight, beacause there was to many cowards and traitors...then,7th december 1655 we had won battle of Krosno, and so on (just read bout it,i'm not goddamn teacher)

You have to understand that I don't think that swedes was weak,in fact their army was great,Carl Gustavus was one of the best modern history Generals, but you overestimate Deluge, poland was weak and without army, you got it?

  • i dont think Poles as weak eíther, Ur cavallry were very very good. Probably the best Cavallry in the World in thoose days,

Batle of Krosno? Werent u allied with the Danes there?? Or am i thinking of another battle now :S

  • nope,it was first real battle after every polish land capitulated to your king....after that battle, polish army reorganised, also it was the time that peasants revolted against swedes, and few month later there was battle of Warsaw where our king showed his incompetence and lack of ANY military talent (compared to Carl Gustavus ;p ),and you had won that battle,i admit...but maybe you didn't know,1k hussars charged WHOLE swedish-brandenburg army and one of hussars almost killed your king ;)

  • Yes i know, that Karl X nearly got killed ^^ But he didnt hehe :P Thats the risk u take as a warrior King, U are a target on the battlefield, but Sweden have only lost two Warrior kings in our History. Gustav II Adolf at Lützen and Karl XII at the siege of Fredrisktad in Norway.

  • but our 'great' king didn't send rest of cavalry (about 12k) and after some time hussars retreated (they lost about 160 men, they were fighting whole swedish army and they killed like 500-600),then poles just retreated from battlefield...this victory was like a gift from our king to yours ;)

  • well, i think he thought the Hussars would be able to go throw the entiry Swedish line and make all the Swedes and Brandenburg soldiers flee, Thats what ur enemies did before right? When the Hussars striked in to them.

  • yup, that was their tactic, first they were spread out (so it was hard to hit 'em with cannons and guns) and gaining speed, and just before a contact, they was getting closer to each other (horse to horse) and with their 5 meter long lance, they were able to buldoze every infantery line...ofc 1k vs 20k of disciplined and well trained swedish soldiers was suicide from the very beginning ;]

  • just retreated and there wasn't any real battle and almost no casualties on both sides,so that wasn't really any battle...

about that part:"ANd he just like the rest of ur Kings were a Coward who never fought the battles next to hes soldiers like the Swedish kings,," ever heard of John III Sobieski and battle of Viena? ;) this is just example, you,my friend, don't know a shit bout polish history,so don't post here about it,k? ;)

  • fighting against Turks and fighting against Swedes/West Europèens are a big difference.

Russia beated the Turks before the Great Northern War, and Sweden crushed that Army at the battle of Narva with just 8,400 Soldiers ^^

  • oh man, don't be ridicioulus, this was one of the biggest and greatest victories in modern western history...without poles,Austria would fall...and don't say anything about turks, swedes never really fought with them, and your infantery would be killed in a few seconds by their cavalry

  • Village were burn by Swedes and the destruction of Warszawa was comparable to that what Germans did in 1944-45.

I am not a fan of Russia of course, but they beat Swedes in battle of Poltava in regular battle (not by burning a village) :)

The same Poles did in battle of Kircholm:)

  • They used the "Sorched earth technique".. They burnd all their villages they Swedes were marching through and digged woen all the food.. The Swedes hadnt goot a meal for days when they stod in Poltava to face a much bigger army. If the Swedes where fully fitted they would have crushed the Russians just like in the all battles before it. Numbers or not, The Swedes where much better then them in fight.

  • that because the swedish army at poltava had marched for miles and was fatigued, and it wasnt as big as the russian army, which had been better trained this time by Tzar Peter since Narva, and it was an uphill fight, if Charles XII's plan to simply surprise attack the russian fortifications before they had a chance to complete it we would have prob won at Poltava, but unfortunatly our battle formations was spotted and it gave the russians time to prepare for us.
