it`s the second movement of the concerto.

1st movement is called Ouverture, 2nd - Idyll.

Ich fände dieses Stück sehr gut, wenn er aus diesem Werk die Volksmusik weggelassen hätte. Das Stück ist aber trotzdem wirklich klasse, es zeigt, was für ein Monster Schiff am Cello ist! Aber wie schon gesagt, es ist ja Ansichtssache. Zu Gulda: Er ist speziell, er gibt sich zu patzig, das macht ihn vielleicht lächerlich. Ein bisschen kann ich ihn verstehen: Die meisten Mainstream-Leute kapieren nicht, wenn man anders ist, lachen drüber. Schade eigentlich, das ist nämlich dumm.

I am looking for this recording of Gulda concert for cello and wind instruments . I know amadeo pubblished it in vinyl in 1986...does anyone know of a cd version? I am only interested in the one with Gulda conducting and Schiff as cello player. Thank you....

Ich liebe dieses Konzert, ich find auch den Schiff super - gerade diese Mischkulanz gibt dem Werk einen besonderen Reiz! Ist aber natürlich Geschmackssache ;-)
